Hey, with a lot of retooling, that could sorta work too. Granted it'd be literally nothing like Wu wanted since Peach'd be the villain and either Bowser or Jr being the hero (hey, it's not like Mario's never been the villain before) and have it maybe be kind of a platformer/beat em up mix or a strategy game and... I'll stop.

Maybe I should run GSK, I seem to put a lot more thought into game concepts than her.

It's a little spergy but I think the implication was that Brianna was trying to pass herself off as a charitable organization with the ".org" name when it isn't one.

I think she was meaning Yoshi's Island. Threw me off too for a second since no one fucking calls it Super Mario World 2.

And if that is the case, I don't know where she gets that idea since plenty of people still say it's a great game, sans the screeching baby Mario.

That was Super Mario Bros. 2, and that was 8-bit. That's what was throwing me off.

To split hairs there was the SNES compilation of the NES Marios, but yeah, Yoshi's Island is what anybody who existed in the world of people who actually play video games has ever called it, thus the reason "Super Mario World 2" is so damn weird looking.

That'd be liking something mainstream though. Of course rather than checking out more obscure titles, just pretend the mainstream thing is something people "forget" when it's still probably the biggest driving force in the popularity of Yoshi as a character.

Yoshi's Island isn't forgotten at all. It's one of the most beloved SNES games out there.

Not only that, it sold millions of copies and defined Yoshi for future games and spin offs.
The only reason it's not as big as Super Mario World is because SMW was packaged with the SNES.
