Actually there is a tendency for Wu to saying things that are essentially this:

I periodically come back to this thread to see if Brianna released this game. I also had this conversation in the chats because I have been thinking about this.

Brianna is worse than Chris. Brianna leeches like Chris but she is worse because she presents herself as a "Woman in Tech"* and then tweets all day and plays vidya while the real women work on her bullshit "feminist " game. She has Patreon backers, she gets "wet" whenever she can get press, and does really nothing for her business. I am not surprised she is deliberately fucking up Frank's sleep schedule not for sex, but for unnecessary leisure time.

*NOTE : I don't get that term Woman in Tech since that is such a broad term. Tech encompasses lots of different areas. Yes, video games involve coding, which Wu does not do, 3D imaging and rigging and lighting, but it also involves sales, marketing, advertising, quality control, you know, Business skills.

I guess it's supposed to be cute because she thinks she's a gamer girl and has to prove it? I just know if the "genders" were reversed and it was a woman who had to go to work the next day to support her unemployed husband then people would call that guy an asshole.

Yeah. This is the kind of thing that's amusing between spouses joking around, but comes across as rampant assholery to onlookers. It's just another example of how tone deaf she is, that she thinks broadcasting snippets of her marriage is amusing to anyone else. It isn't just this example, the way she is pretty disrespectful of her husband in general is pretty appalling. She thinks nothing of putting stuff out there that will embarrass or humiliate him. I guess it is supposed to be quirky or something, but strikes me as pretty disloyal.

Going by what @Jaimas and others repeatedly stated, Frank's in on this bullshit - hell, it might even be his idea to sometimes tweet shit like that in the first place.

This is nothing but image cultivation for the both of them. They've invented roles and images for themselves they portray in order to be seen as the quirky lovey-dovey couple.
Frank's the kinda socially awkward, yet lovable and overly enthusiastic bumbling husband and Johnny Boy is his quirky, nerdy, tech savvy wife... uh... mate.

There's nothing more to it. The situations such as Frank having a meeting or stuff like that is most likely made up in the frist place.

In truth, they're very different people. Frank portrays himself as this lovable goof, the victim of Brianna's good-natured practical jokes, even as she blows up his car or throws him at unwinnable mario brothers levels. In reality, this is a ruse, and the real Frank Wu is someone who is far more dangerous than he lets off. Frank's abusive nature and attempt to hedge his ex out of the sci-fi community gives you a glimpse into what he is truly like under the veneer of likability.

The main difference between Frank and Brianna is that Brianna Wu comes across as a straight-up narcissist who doesn't even bother to cage her fucking contempt for people she deems "lesser" than herself. Frank, meanwhile, has adapted well to societal requirements and is nowhere near as awkward. It can be argued that his reason for choosing Brianna as his wife can be boiled down to the fact that she essentially absorbs any and all flak that would otherwise be directed his way - the Clownfish to her Anemone.

Now that you said that, I never thought about the aspect that Frank is using Bribri as a metaphorical lightning arrester.
If that's the case, Frank's a really cunning bastard.
It seems obvious that their relationship builds on some weird interdependency where Birbri needs Frank as sugardaddy and Frank gets off on weird tranny shit and also the power he holds over Johnny Boy (at least that's something that I assume). But that he's also using his mate as a shield... that's just icing on the cake.

Seems Frank and John are really good at emulating Clownfishes, even down to the part where all Clownfish are born male and then the bigger one turns female at some point. I wonder if Frank would become a tranny to take his mates place after John dies on a Soylent DayQuill binge, too.
