"Anyone know anything about computer cases and their expandability? Like, say I want to add additional cards - I'm sure the motherboard isn't the issue and adding cards is bound by the case, right?

And anyone who says, "Hurr, lern to pcpartpicker, noob," is a white male harasser from gamergate."

Wu, the "software engineer" fails to do a simple google search for "Oculus Ready Build"... Literally the first result not only describes in painful detail what each component does, it gives 4 separate builds for prices ranging between $800 for Oculus minimum specs to $2,200 for a high end VR PC.... complete with links to the exact components on Amazon.

Jesus, why does Wu always default to twitter even when it makes her look stupider?

"I'm a software engineer"
"With the case, the main feature I am looking for is expandability."

My money is on Wu taking the Golden Knight approach and just buying the most expensive hardware she can find without regard to how well it works together, optimization, power demand, etc. The same goes for the case even.

Can't wait to see Wu complaining on Twitter to the manufacturers of these parts because he can't figure out how to put his new PC together.

"Huge potential for empathy?"

No, no potential for empathy.

No potential for anything, really.
This is the worst presentation slide I've ever seen, and it looks exactly like what I would expect a slideshow from a charlatan who had no idea what he's taking about would look like. It reminds me of this "parody of every TED Talk" http://digg.com/video/ted-talk-parody

There is no content in that slide, just vague, feel-good promises and an assurance that what the speaker's taking about is worth talking about. This pathetic image sums up everything you need to know about Wu's career and manufactured persona.

So, the most expensive alienware on that oculus ready list, yea?

So Wu is now an expert in VR as well? Did he even receive his Rift yet?

It must be nice to be him, where as soon as any amount of knowledge is gained, no matter how little, you are instantly an expert on the subject and are equipped to lecture people about it.

I think she's going to go for this:

I mean, it's only money.

The Motorized “Transformer”

It's only fitting that Wu gets a trans computer case.

as soon as any amount of knowledge is gained, no matter how little, you are instantly an expert on the subject and are equipped to lecture people about it.

You missed the part where Wu was literally giving a lecture on how VR devices can be used for "unconscious bias training" i.e. brainwashing people of problematic ideas.

But Natalie is pregnant, you monster!

LMAO
Flynt doesn't know how to build a computer. It's literally as simple as putting Lego blocks together.

Not only that, but Wu is demanding a specific tutorial for building an exact rig meant to run her specific VR headset well. She can't handle a generic tutorial on how to install each part into the motherboard and case, or picking out specific parts she needs.

You know, understanding how to implement modules in coding and physically installing computer parts requires the smarts to understand the core ideas of the components you're handling. Weird how this software engineer can't handle a motherboard book saying "line up the shiny corner of the CPU with the shiny corner on the motherboard socket" or a Linus Tech Tips tutorial on youtube. She needs to see exactly how to put together her exact parts, and which exact parts to buy, because she's a tech wannabe.
