It looks like AltConf 2016 has learned how you deal with having Flynt/Wu on a panel: One microphone and you don't get to squeal about oppression if you don't have the mic. If you don't have the mic, you keep your damned mouth shut. It must have been torture.

At the risk of exposing my power level, I own both a Rift and Vive and develop for them. I still get motion sickness if things aren't calibrated perfectly. We're a ways off from VR being as common as an SNES, and anybody who's already proclaiming the dangers of VR has never worn the damn headsets for more than five minutes.

Yeah the most uncomfortable thing your brain is going to wire to your body is that someone's hand is moving through your torso and it doesn't feel anything. That in itself is unsettling for basic human brain reactions, but you'd have to program out the logic for someone to sexually assault you or whatever in VR.
