Just went and read the kickstarter page again for Rev60..there's a lot of pissed off backers there, and Wu's basically blanked them all, ignoring all their questions. Somehow thinks this is a good business decision?. I laughed when I scrolled back to this little gem:
Given it was "done except for redoing skeletal meshes" in march 2015, it should have been out over a year ago.

You can get a pile of shit greenlit on Steam in a couple days. I can't fathom how inept you must be to screw up something built in Unreal to the point where the whole thing just doesn't work anymore. You could put a monkey in a room with the Unreal engine for a couple weeks and they would figure out how to make a game.

Rev60 is Brianna's babby. She actually cares about it despite it being a fucking trainwreck. But the thing is, the last time it was up, it didn't do well - and she knows it. All the Gamergatesploitation (this is a thing) and all the attempts to capitalize on her own victimhood succeeded only in getting Rev60 into 834th place in the Apple store ratings.
The game, as we know it, was a failure.
Wu is acutely aware of what will go down when that game releases: Exactly what happened when she tried to false-flag herself. Rev60 is going to be savaged and absolutely torn to shreds. With Steam Refunds a thing now, Brianna Wu will be more quantifiably a failure than ever before. To Wu, the worst thing that could happen is obscurity and the surest way to ensure that is to delay the game's launch at all costs.
But it's a delaying tactic. One way or another, she's going to have to shit or get off the pot, and when she does, the Kiwi Farms' Autism Xanatos Gambit will be complete.

I sincerely hope that more Kickstarter backers start calling out John about the lack of anything. It's been about a month since he got his Steam store page approved, and that was only done because the KS people were complaining.

Yep... documenting... that one operation she labled "0?" is literally called "jump if zero".
Seeing that the most likely release date is 'one week after the heat death of the universe', I am not sure if we will be around to see it.
But seriously:
Every game created by a feminist/SJW I know of is shit. No one - except maybe the dozen-or-so professional window lickers, who still donate to Wu's Patreon - expect "Revolution 60: Steam Vaporware Edition" to be any good. If she releases Rev 60 there will be some of her old cronies praising the game, followed by a truckload of bad reviews on Steam and after that Wu will use the Ghostbusters-defense, claiming that every bad review is written by a misogynist troll. And when that blows over, after one or two weeks, people will completely forget about her epilepsy simulator. We exactly know how it will play out, we've seen it a dozen times by now.
I think there are two possible reasons why Wu does not release the game:
The first one is that her multicolored eyesore is broken. Wu is adding all that shit like lights and textures, because this is something she can actually do, while she is completely incapable of - I don't know, perhaps - fix that 'tiny issue' that the game isn't running on ATI-cards, or something like that.
The other one is...
...well, if she releases that port, she will have to make another game to continue calling herself a 'game developer'. And I think we all know how fucking unlikely that is.

This may depend on how aggressive you are in defining something as feminist or SJW. Because Half-Life 2, to pick a specific example, has Alyx, a ridiculously strong, mixed race character. And from the same time period, you also have Portal 2, where the protagonist character is also an indeterminate race female whose only personality trait is an absolute refusal to give up no matter what.
Gaming was already well into social justice, of the sort that involved actual justice, well before dangerhairs showed up.

That reminds me, has anyone else noticed that pretty much all the furniture in their house that we see looks like something you'd see in student housing? It all looks like stuff found off the streets or bought third-hand at a garage sale. Even the table in that picture looks like a cheap closet door put on its side. How do people with an income like Frank's not have anything that looks decent?

Eh. Alyx is, in comparison to "Theoretical Physicist and Murder Machine" Gordon Freeman, 'not as useless' as other NPCs (actually she is a glorified door opener, but then every NPC is usually either that, a shopkeeper, an additional gun or cannon fodder). And Chell is just another silent protagonist who happens to be female, change a few lines in the Portal series and she could have been male as well. Usually every silent protagonist is OP as fuck, because they are the main character in a video game. So I really see any SJ influence there.
