There will be a delay announced or some desperate flailing sometime after whenever Wu logs into Kickstarter by accident and notices that someone asked for an update and they pointed out that Wu's last comment didn't answer their question.

While unlikely, I hope one of the Kickstarter backers find their balls and insists on getting their money back, convinced Wu has just run off with the money, and forces John to fish or cut bait.

Submitting a game to steam takes literally 2 days or LESS, The fact that Flynt submitted it and got the "store previews" means someone already played whatever game you sent to them and approved it.
The only thing that they need to do is set up the steam trading cards and badges after the submission.
The audacity of him saying that he needs to "prepare the marketing" or whatever he said was the reason to park it is such a blatant lie that I'm not sure why there isn't more outrage in the public eye.

Considering the amount of tripe Jim Sterling showcases on his "Best of Steam Greenlight" is proof enough that Wu is a big liar. But the average person Wu is trying to appease wouldn't know it's actually pretty fucking easy to get your games on Steam Greenlight and just as easily submitted through as an actual game.

I believe that John is stupid enough to have fucked around with the source code after he submitted to Steam a version of the binaries/installer other than the one he intended to be the release version. He would have done this in response to criticism about the lateness of the release.

John's talk of git and floating point variables came very late in this shambles. This suggests that John only recently learned about source code control and floating point variables and he learned about them because he broke the source code. I suspect that he started editing the source code in major ways without any sort of back-up of the original files and he made it uncompilable. His compiler/linker gave him errors about data types so he had to look that up hence his tweet about floating point variables.

Because John is a fuckwit what I think followed is more modifications of the source code in an attempt to get it to compile/link but this has introduced other errors. Given the source code was created by inexperienced programmers I would hazard a guess that it was awful before John touched it. But John being the delusional fuckwit that he is likely made it worse, so much more that it will not even compile/link. So now he has some version of the game (in binary form) that is not what he wants to release and doesn't know how to proceed. I can imagine John totally debasing the source code in his attempts to get it to compile/link. There is no method to John's behavior--his cooking most recently tells us that much.

I've been wondering lately if Brianna would be stupid enough to try and edit her game without backing it up first. I thought that even she could not be that stupid but maybe I was wrong. If that's what happened then the next weeks / months will be awesome.

Either she will hire someone to fix her mess, draining whatever resources Frank has left, or (most likely) she will have to come up with increasingly ridiculous excuses as to why she hasn't released her game, culminating into one big excuse about why she will not release the game (gamergate terrorism probably?). This will draw the anger of those kickstart /patreon backers who still have their balls, as well as ridicule from the farms and even others who might not have heard of Brianna before.
