Fact is, Wu doesn't allow :reality: to intrude on her safe space.

Without discussing too much detail, a lot of people who've wanted to criticize Brianna Wu haven't been able to because Brianna will think nothing of fucking using every method at her disposal, no matter how ludicrous or absurd, to get her way. This reputation is infamous enough that several I've talked to during research have elaborated that most at cons or panels just treat her with the intention of getting her out the fucking door ASAP.

If in any way opposed, Wu will react by trying to get her opposition - even if it was just someone who disagreed with her or pointed out one of her many lies - expelled from the event. If she can't do that, she'll settle for having them removed from the panel in as big a way as possible so she can claim victimhood later. In the rare case of someone with actual clout at one of her events that she can't do anything about directly who runs against her narrative, Wu reacts with disturbing purpose - drumming up complaints about that user, encouraging her Twitter mob to attack them, and, ultimately, going the full mile and using her connections to try to get them "de-platformed" from any event she might speak at.

The funny thing is Rev 60 wont even be a notoriously bad game, its not like 10,000 people will buy it just to shit on their friends.

Rev60 will sell a few thousand copies if Johnny's lucky and a lot will be refunded then it will fade into obscurity as just another shitty game among many millions of shitty games.

The release of Rev 60 will be the death knell of relevance for our Hero; once its out and forgotten Johnny's got nothing left to excuse his pathetic attempts to wedge himself into pop culture.

and I can't wait for that day because I am sick to death of this turd eating waste of a human life tweeting stuff that would embarrass a 13 year old. The day Johnny shuts down his twitter account I will breath a heavy sigh of relief as this lolcow vigil will finally be over.

Won't ever happen. We follow people here who sperg over much less and for far fewer people - John is convinced that he is a cultural force and a social crusader who represents millions. Screaming for attention is hardwired into John's DNA. He will tweet and I will screencap until one of us is dead.

A few hundred if Wu is lucky. Remember that the Kickstarter backers get a free copy of the game. PC gamers are a little more selective than mobile gamers as well. Only chance this has of selling in the thousands is if it gets bundled with a bunch of other indie games for a couple bucks.

If Wu put half as much effort into her actual work as she does into silencing her critics, the goddamned game would be done already.

Possibly, but I think one step short of impossible because Wu's ego would never allow it to be sold in a fashion that allows the purchaser to decide how the money is divvied up between the publishers and charity. Doesn't take much effort to move that slider for Giant Spacekat to 0%.
