The U.S. has the best higher education institutions in the world. Take a look at the top 100 and how many of them are here.
It is one part of the U.S. educational system John completely failed to take advantage of despite every opportunity.
John doesn't realize you become an engineer by either going to school and studying, or by actually building things.

I think it was Paul Fussell, in his book Class: A Guide Through the American Status System, who pointed out that there are more "universities" in Texas than in all of Europe. Only three of them are actual world-class schools (Rice, the University of Texas, and Texas A&M). The rest -- and there are scores and scores and scores of them -- are varying degrees of crap.
And America's public elementary and secondary school systems are pathetic. The one job they do well is to grossly overinflate students' false sense of accomplishment and self-worth. (Everybody gets a participation trophy!) These schools barely cling to a position in the Top 25 in the world, but the students routinely score themselves as the world's best.

First of all, he's insinuating he's receiving these mails regularly, second, it's obviously something he wants to flaunt around cause it allows him to act like some fancypants big shot CEO.

This. In order to get a decent higher education in the US of A, you need to literally throw money at them. Which John's parents did. Repeatedly. Still he didn't get a degree. Say what you will about OPL, at least he's got a degree.

She's really put Wu in an ethical dilemma, what do you do with a poor single mother who needs her job but drags the team down? I know Wu is ready to make the tough choices but she still is a woman with feelings. A woman with Estrace™ induced feelings that a man like me has never even experienced.
God how do we blame her for her mood swings and NyQuil binges? We mock her for chain smoking all over her sailor moon figurines.

Didn't Wu sperg about Tomb Raider for the few days until Fallout 4 came out, then quickly realize people liked Fallout 4 much better? I seem to recall her going on about how superior Tomb Raider was going to be, and how Fallout was going to fail because Bethesda, then never mentioning it again once the reviews started coming in...
Someone claiming to be one of her patrons did call her out about Natalie's non-existence anonymously through a medium post. After unsuccessfully trying to get them to reveal who they were (and claiming Natalie had an upcoming interview with a "major news organization" that never materialized), Wu cried "GAMERGATE" and promptly ignored them. I don't think it went anywhere after that.
Yep. Wu was willing to cooperate on the quid pro quo the poster reveal their identity (presumably for blackmail reasons), and when they wouldn't cooperate, Wu called it a GG false flag and refused to discuss the subject again.
It's one of the reasons the only way we will ever see the mother of all chimpouts is if Wu was put in a situation, where, under penalty of law, he HAS to fish or cut bait, no question asked and no bullshitting allowed.
The Kickstarter backers getting restless was what triggered his latest spat of actually doing shit because he fears them suing him for fraud or just demanding their money back, which amounts to the same embarrassing end result.
Short version, Flynt hates being trapped in situations he holds zero leverage, and once R60 is out what little leverage he has goes poof, which is why he's dragged his ass so long on releasing it at all. Once of the reasons he recalled the original was essentially to drag this charade out as long as he could, a trick he can't pull again if the SE version bombs.

At some point, he will be no longer able to avoid this matter: he has to release the game or admit that it's never going to come out.
The longer he drags this decision out, the worse for him. 2 years ago, his shitty game would have gotten a bad reception, but just imagine that clusterfuck of badly designed bullshit hitting the market nowadays.
Similarly, admiting defeat would be even worse. All her oh-so important tech-zilla cred would vanish and a bunch of angry people would demand their money back.
All we have to do is sit back and wait. Though, I was actually expecting the game to be released this time around, dunno why. It's something to put a deadline in the (somewhat) far future and then let it pass unnoticed. It's an entirely different affair to make a deadline within a few days and then let that pass uncommented.

Maybe it's Wu's masterplan all along. She makes tweets that her game is going to hit the market anytime soon just to switch her act and then pretend she released the game already, hoping noone will notice her ruse.

You worded it quite well, right now as we speak John is literally making shit by throwing ridiculous amounts of money out the window, plagiarizing good works, ignoring any kind of serious or rigorous method and spending his day on Twitter rambling about dumb shit and dogpiling people. All of that to satisfy a power fantasy and forget the mess his life is despite all the privileges he had since the beginning.
If you're doubting yourself, always remember that at least you never spent 600 000$ for a failed project+Rev60, and who knows how much on a Twitter Posing Motorcycle. No one can take that away from you. Rejoice and embrace the universe like a blazing star: you're not John Walker Flynt.

I know this has been said before, but I would so love to know how much of that $1,932 is John throwing money at his own Patreon to make it seem important. I would bet that number is embarrassingly high at this point.

Not just that but considering Wu is engaging in outright fraud at this point, they would also be entitled to prejudgment interest. Wu would have to answer some pointed questions. Not just where's the game, John, but where's Natalie, John? Where's the Patreon money, John? You know, the Patreon money that not a penny of it goes to John to fly around the country looking like a scarecrow and terrifying panelists and audiences alike at the events where John disrupts and monopolizes them with flimsy attempts at pretending to be a game developer.
