Wu sperging about trying the original NES Final Fantasy III:

As someone who played the original and the DS version, he'd go fucking insane playing the NES version.

With the DS version, a lot of the more aggravating dungeons were simplified and shortened (one massive dungeon was reduced to two screens at one point when it was a pain in the ass in the original version), the job system received some balance changes that made it less hard to grind, and lot of enemies and bosses became much easier. The game engine also reduced the amount of enemies on screen, which made a few late game dungeons a hell of a lot more bearable.

The NES version has to be one of the most sadistically hard Final Fantasy games in existence. Long as hell dungeons with tons of secret passageways that were very hard to spot in the original, "splitting enemies" (if you don't kill them in one hit or hit them with specific weapons, they'll make a clone with what HP it had remaining) that were severely toned down in numbers in the DS version, several gimmick dungeons (you could only enter and explore with the Mini/Toad spell) which were made much less hard in the DS version . Worse, game balance was so off whack some bosses (the Garuda especially) were literal dice rolls and Elixers and Phoenix Downs were incredibly rare (the DS version had an item cloning trick that made this not an issue). The final dungeon itself was a nightmare, with a point where you wind up in another final dungeon once you reach the top, and no way to save or leave until you defeat the final boss, and you have to defeat four more bosses and try not to piss away all your magic and healing items until then (given the sheer length of both, this is not easy by any means), and the final boss hit hard with a spam attack that, if she got a total party kill, meant you'd have to do all that shit over again.

There is no fucking way he'll beat the original without a shit ton of patience or outright cheating (I did it honestly ONCE, I'm NOT touching that game again).
You are right if she cant finish FF5 then she wont finish FF3NES. Not like she finishes any game at all though.

I dont have as much hate for FF3NES like you do but here have a couple patches that change the balance around a bit. They dont do anything about the dungeon design though. They both handle the Ninja and Sage differently
http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/2399/ I like this one myself. It makes more changes and adds Phoenix Downs to shops. Only changes stats with the Ninja and Sage but buffs other classes
http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/2805/ This one is newer and doesnt have as many changes on it but hes still making new additions. Makes Ninja and Sage more like DS version

This is getting to Notch levels of procrastination.
Say what you want about the laziness of Notch, but that guy at least released a game and as autistic as it may be, it's kinda fun for some time and it actually had an impact on modern gaming.

Wu has a Software that allows the absolut minimum of interaction to even qualify as a game, that's unlikely to ever come out and even if it did, it wouldn't have a lasting impact on anything.

Notch might have been a lazy asshole, but he hired people to finish his game, Wu hasn't even done that much.
The game is never coming out. Wu is just hoping people will forget about it at some point.
Minor correction, she wants people to forget that she actually has to release it on PC, she does want people to remember how "important" it is and how "critically acclaimed", else she might lose some of her Godzilla of Tech tard street cred.

"Still working on building the routine to get myself back on adding light features on a daily basis, and createning on--creating on a daily basis and everything. Yeah, still doing that. Uhh, working on the trying to make a schedule and getting on that routine and I have my own typical... uhh, unexpected and incoming stresses and life problems. Mmm, but anyway if you don't feel like, uhh, buying a big thing you can donate as little as one dollar."

Is this the next deadline? I'm so confused. I think Flynt has finally broken my brain. I don't know how to process this.

She did talk on podcasts a year ago about how "her team needed some time off" after shipping their "first game."

Technically that wasn't a lie since she fired them all. Now they have all the time off in the world.

There is no endgame in that Flynt isn't that smart.
He spent 10 years in college and doesn't even have a degree to show for it.
He's a narcissist that wants to be looked up to by the masses as a strong, beautiful CEO of a successful video game company only without any of the hardwork that goes into that.

I went to check for myself and it's down another dollar to $1,947. Every dollar she loses makes me so happy. It's despicable that she's gotten so much for naught, but everyone who wakes up and stops giving the lying snarling impersonation of a female human money restores a bit of my hope and faith in humanity.

You are correct, this privilege is called the right to vote, which is a privilege that every American citizen enjoys regardless of their race or gender. What's the problem exactly?
