Does Flynt/Wu think that his SRS gave him a set of XX chromosomes? Given his stupefying and constantly demonstrated ignorance of pretty much every topic under the sun, it wouldn't surprise me.

And, as Luckster points out, Flynt/Wu, the professional writer and journalist, is woefully ill-informed on the meaning of the word euphemism.

The Modern Language Association needs to send a gang of its diesel-dyke TERF grad students to pay a visit to this semi-literate tranny.

Or you could just take care of your responsibilities like a normal person instead of sounding like a fucking spoiled child. Seriously, what the fuck is this?

Spoken like a true rich startup tech bro that you desperately wish you were (well you have the bro part down at least)

Services like this, Blue Apron, "Uber for Laundry" "Uber for Toothbrushes" "Uber for Razors" "Uber for Oreos" etc to me they've always just been ways for self important rich techbros to continue their lives as manchildren post-university.

"Oh I'm too busy to put my clothes in a washing machine and hang them up after, gotta keep focused on my startup! So I pay massively over the odds to this other douches startup to come collect my clothes then wash them for me"

"Oh I'm too busy to buy a toothbrush every few months like most adults do"

"Oh I'm too busy to google a recipe, go to the supermarket and buy some ingredients, I'll have just a handful of veggies shipped across the country just for a single meal at great expense"

Whole thing is pathetic and reeks of privilege. So right up Wu's alley

Here is what really happened:
Please, Wu probably was, with a probability bordering on certainty, paid for that tweet. This is how things work, they offer you some money and/or a free monthly subscription of their service/product, you make the tweet and that's it. It wouldn't surprise me if she pours most of her Soylent crap down the drain after she made a picture of it.

You have my sympathy for subjecting yourself to Isometric and Rocket. I've tried liestening to some of the podcasts at random in hopes of finding something funny, but it's a herculean task indeed.

One thing I want to throw in real fast is something about the Ambien addiction stuff you mention at the start.

Ambien/zolpidem/really-long-IUPAC-name is one of the commonly used and prescribed "z-drugs" (that's basically all the non-benzos that [kinda sorta] behave like benzos used to treat sleeping problems of many kinds, mostly insomnia though) and is pretty well understood pharmacologically and virtually every medical doctor and medical professional knows that it can bring about dependency issues and will advise a patient on said possibility. But getting addicted to Ambien is not nearly as easy as getting addicted to stuff like alprazolam and temazepam, because those are true and honest benzos. The reason z-drugs exist is because they are NOT benzodiazepines.

If Ambien/zolpidem is used as your doctor instructs you to use them, then the possibility of getting addicted to it is very slim. It can happen, but it really really shouldn't.

I think a good possibility is that Wu was prescribed Ambien, liked it and then got more of it without prescriptions after doctors said to not overdo it because it can lead to problems (just read up on what it can do if you get dependant), and, predictably, got addicted to it.

Pointing fingers at doctors and makingt them the reason you got addicted is a sure nice way to push away responsibility though.
Self medicating is the first sign of mental issues.

How many times have you cleaned your rats' nest of a house? The answer is almost certainly zero.

All of those SNES games are reproductions.

Nice reproductions John, in his infinite autism he is calling those cartridges "Redesigns" when in reality they only are custom cartridges with the translated ROM inside

Front mission Gun Hazard and Bahamut lagoon were never released in america but were fan translated millennia ago

TL;DR John discovered the joys of emulation and wasted money to brag about it

edit: my god that xbox looks like shit, clean that damn thing john
She doesnt even know about SD2SNES which is basically a flashcart and is way cheaper. It even has a custom MSU-1 chip made by byuu that can produce CD quality music FMVs with the right hack. There are MSU-1 hacks being made for games right now. Id recommend the Chrono Trigger one.

Just about to post this too.

Way to double down on something that has been called out not just by fans but has been confirmed to be false by one of the creators of the Metroid series and Nintendo themselves.

The SAMUS IS tranny shit is not like a wine that get's better 6 months down the line, it turns into vinegar.

Edit: The egg that made the Chozo DNA tweet has this link up on their feed. https://www.youcaring.com/rinna-430559#.Vw7coANgvB8.twitter

You've got to be shiting me...
Institutional racism... in Portland.

And here I thought someone had to develop something to be a developer.

Wow. I didn't know it was as easy as lying about being an engineer and buying fake SNES games.
It's uncanny how many lies are allowed for this person. If any of us was caught lying about stuff like that, we'd be busted and ridiculed within minutes. Wu is pure privilege.

Few things to think about though:

1) A lot of the people that allow to continue to habitually lie fall into two categories. The first are the mindless suckups who just perceive Wu and their beloved tomgirl game designer maverick. She, in their minds, is this spunky upstart and fulfills this mindset of what a punk-rock gamer girl would be. The second are media journalists who may or may not realize Wu is full of shit but they keep her around simply because she is an easy person to get a comment from. They aren't worried about the validity of their story, after all, it is just video games who the fuck cares, amirite?

2) Most of the people who play video games, both genders and both gamers and developers alike, realize Wu is full of shit and that's why you never see any large companies actually speaking to her. Both GG personalities like... well, all of them, think Wu is a joke and people on the other end of the spectrum like Randi Harper and Leigh Alexander refuse to be associated with her. Hell, have you ever noticed how Anita-senpai has not even looked at Wu's general direction in over a year? Wu is considered a joke.

3) It is good to occasionally stop and regain perspective on things. When you're in the Kiwi Farms for too long, or reddit, or tumblr, it's easy to forget where you are and your mind starts to rot. Step backwards and realize we're discussing one tiny person who has done nothing noticeable except give a couple bad interviews which have been forgotten by the vast majority. She has had one game on the market and it tanked. Wu is really not that important to anything except to watch how far a person will believe their own bullshit, and to see how to abuse the "you can't talk bad about me cuz sexism" excuse so far that even that doesn't work anymore.

U JELLY?

next time the tech market slows down and these guys start doing a personal budget. VCs are already starting to scratch their heads and wonder why they tossed their money into shit so obviously stupid.
I'll be curious what happens with all these things once prices go up and it's even less worthwhile and then they start squeezing the vendors who actually provide the services they deliver especially that so many who didn't sign up to become providers are going out of business already. When there are like 2 laundromats in town and nobody will drive your clothes to them anymore. Dunno.

Yeah, she could build a desktop (I mean, any true gamer runs on a desktop, not a laptop). For $600, she could build a solid gaming rig.
For the cost of a single month of "Natalie's salary," she could build a fantastic gaming rig. For 2 months, she could have that thing custom liquid cooled. Know how much cred that'd give her?
But she'd probably fuck up the liquid loop and fry it.

While I completely agree, point 3 has a certain nuance. Wu is actually allowed to go out as a public speaker in some press outlets and conferences. Any conference Wu is part of is essentially ruined for other speakers who might be legit people serious about the topic. It's been implied that extra security has to be added to wherever Wu attends. While I can't confirm that, if true that means his chimpouts are believed by the organizers to some extent, or at least tolerated because of the narrative...or lied about by accomplices in a snowball of deceit. Wu was allowed in some conference recently even when Harper wasn't happy about having him around.

Imagine Wu as some sort of ebay seller with artificially positive ratings, with ebay removing any negative ratings on demand. It's all fine and dandy until some poor idiot outside of the "circle of common knowledge" gets scammed. Not a huge problem in the grand scheme of things, I admit, but it's undeniable we are seeing hypocrisy of the highest caliber in terms of "privilege".

Nah actually she's probably hoping they'll sponsor isometric if they see her follower count because they already sponsor Armet's podcast.

Wu is the kind of sperg that would use Soylent as a coolant

Based on the way he moves and the apparently uncontrollable facial tics, I suspect that Flynt/Wu is afflicted with the full-body version of alien hand syndrome. You could turn a nice profit by charging people $10 a head to watch online as he attempted to assemble a computer. (No refunds if the main attraction electrocutes itself.)

Wu's terrorizing students at the University of Alabama tomorrow, but as usual respects her hosts so much that she has no fucking clue where or what she's talking at and foisted it off onto 'GSXoffice'.

I looked on UofA's events planner and couldn't see anything obvious he'd be talking at.

Edit - Ok so because of time zones I'm not actually sure what 'tomorrow' means for Wu but here's two possible events for friday.

I'd be pissed as hell if my tuition dollars went towards her as a speaker.
