Holy shit. John actually said that to someone? "Do you really want to be one of the thousands of people who don't accept my word as manna from God?" HOLY SHIT, the lack of self-awareness is amazing. It's absolutely unbelievable that they just talked down to someone in that way. This guy just did a textbook "mansplain" to someone.

Okay honestly, someone please mansplain to me here: John is trying to put Windows 10 on his Mac, right? Is there any purpose to doing that?

Thinking the game was finished in 2012 is weird. They released the iOS version in 2014. Everything looks like they ran out of money and had to fire all the adults who knew what they were doing in early 2015, and that while the Steam release may really have been "just about close" to shipping, Flynt can't close the deal and finish the job.

If the stuff about lead in Soylent is legit than it wouldn't surprise me at all that they all slobber out of the same trough.

Some of the symptoms of lead poisoning are mood swings/disorders, irritability and declined mental funtion.

My guess is he's trying to get Unreal going in a dual boot situation. Why not just buy a cheap Windows 10 laptop, John? Your OLD POS MBP doesn't have the horsepower.

So Flynt/Wu would rather lose money than release his crappy game for PC and endure the negative reviews it would generate?

It won't be long before he claims to be a CPA. His accounting skills appear to be on the same level as everything else on his falsified résumé.

So he can pretend to develop Rev60 on Windows. He's actually been at that for a bit now if my memory serves correctly because he installed Windows 10 on his mac some days ago.

Also kudos to whoever pointed out a while back that Wu had probably pirated Windows 10 because there had been no mention of buying it. If that tweet is any indication, it seems that several day period before it asks you to activate it if you didn't have a key at install just ran out. :lol:

It's a free upgrade if you have Win7 or Win8 installed already. Not sure if John did, but that could explain how he got it on there, if he was dual booting. But, then, why is he asking for a cheap key? Hmmm... things don't add up.

Yes.

Without Rev60, he's just another shrieking nobody with a Twitter. With it he's a CERTIFIED SOFTWARE ENGINEER and LEGITIMATE GAME DEVELOPER. That's how it works in his head, it seems. If Rev60 fails, he'll have nothing.
