I think the more unbelievable part of this is that Frank is a sports fan.
 
Can someone explain to me how Wu's getting a hell of a gut by eating nothing but Soylant? Isn't that zero calorie fit vegan ginger type crap?

Wu strikes me as the kind of person that would rather throw away dirty clothes and buy new ones than operate a washing machine, so spending restaurant prices and then having to prepare the meal in your own kitchen just fits right into that fantasy of mine. And yes, I remember Frank repairing the dryer.

One doesn't have to be a fantastic cook anymore, all you need is good ingredients (veggies, fresh meat, the works) you can buy at pretty much any supermarket and then take a look at one of the countless recipe sites out there that offer you preparation isntructions FOR FREE.

I guess leaving the house and getting some nice food-stuffs is just too much of a bother though. let's just get it delivered or whatever.

Frank works and Brianna is home all day without a license. I think it's safe to assume she eats more than soylent. She probably orders in a lot and survives off processed food. We have to remember that Brianna had only a small period in her life where she didn't have someone well off paying for everything so she's never needed to learn how to cook.

She probably tweeted the dinner pic because she's feeling some level of pride after kind of actually doing something herself. It's a big day for John.
 
Wow, 10 bucks a serving? Why don't they just get a curry or something. It's like a terrible restaurant where you have to do the cooking yourself.

If have to say though, I've never seen anything more MURICAN! than those two piddly little carrots individually wrapped in polythene.

Actually I think Wu's always been dependant on somebody her entire life. I think we overlooked it in her Livejournal, but even she lived in Colorado it was in her aunt's house.

That must have been pretty fucking awkward. Not being on speaking terms with your family, but living with your aunt while pretending to be the opposite gender.

The Blue Apron stuff is simultaniously the epitome of laziness and a celebration of senselessness. It is just so incredibly "Wu" that it hurts.

Soylents supposed to be a full meal replacement, it has calories. Wu says they usually have soylent for breakfast and lunch and a real dinner, so add in some junk food and not enough exercise and you have a gut.
