This is true of almost
all of the people who've met us directly to talk about her - not just one or two.
To hear one of the most chilling synopses we were told about it, Wu was "willing to flat-out ruin the career of anyone who remotely offends her," and will do so in various ways. This individual explained a situation with an acquaintance of theirs whom Wu strategically got banned from cons that Wu was going to speak at without any recourse as they were systemically "de-platformed," attacked by Wu on Social Media, and essentially had her dog them across multiple platforms and try to undermine their entire career.
Whilst this is an allegation, and has no evidence that got presented... Well, let's just say that
there's nothing in that we haven't seen Wu do before.
It's critical to note:
Wu does not care context. If you are critical of her, in her worldview,
you should not exist. Anything that's ever shown Wu in a remotely bad light is a threat to be expunged, unless that target happens to be something that she can't attack lest the resulting fallout open too many eyes (Lolcow Wiki). It doesn't matter if you're a tech person Wu doesn't approve of, or a charity organization (Wu's followers have been going after Jamie Walton for over a month now over Alison Rapp) - if you make Wu look bad, your career, to hear Brianna tell it, should be forfeit. Wu focuses on the likes of KIA and 8chan because several parties already hate them, so she can virtue-signal that way. If she wouldn't suffer blastback for it, Encyclopedia Dramatica and especially Lolcow Wiki would be up on her chopping block, followed by Wu's myriad other critics.
And Wu's becoming increasingly unhinged because she's been steadily losing this power since we began chronicling her. There is going to come a moment when Wu has the chimp-out to end all chimp-outs, and it's coming, Kiwis.... By the
gods, it's coming.
