You weren't exaggerating. I quit after ~45 minutes and I counted 22 snarl tics. Here is but a sampling:

When John/Brianna is not producing snarl tics he is otherwise ticcing. The entire time that Miguel is talking John's lips are twitching and his eyes are darting; the snarl tic is the worst tic rather than the only tic.

Also, John doesn't really listen to what Miguel/Katherine is saying (in his faux English accent). John just waits for Miguel to finish, says "that's well stated" and just goes off on some non sequitur that is about him. To his credit Miguel tries at times to talk about issues instead of himself but John just talks about himself rather than trying to engage with what Miguel is saying.
Here's what I want: a video clip showing the quote where Flynt says "I don't want to talk about Gamergate," and then a running tally (with timestamps and a bell going ding) every time he says "Gamergate" after that.
My video editing skills suck, so it'll take me a while to get to this.
Flynt has such tiny teeth. It's very unnerving combined with his other features.
Even at a not particularly prestigious university, John was a legacy admission because of his father. Not just once but three times. He failed every time, as well as failing at any other university, apparently never even obtaining a degree after something like nine years.
Wu is just not very intelligent.
Sometimes someone pretty intelligent like an engineer or programmer is clumsy in English, has bad spelling, or whatever, but almost all Wu's time was in the liberal arts. Wu still consistently misspells "fancy" words when attempting to look intelligent. This is a very common sign of a dumbass putting on airs.
Wu is just pretty dumb. Not actually retarded, but solidly in the average range. If Wu scores higher on an IQ test, Wu underperforms.
Wu is probably above average in intelligence. The problem is that Wu imagines he is a super-genius.
I think Wu honestly believes each time he says "Rev 60 about to be released," because he's psyching himself up to do all the boring work that is required. But then Twitter is there, and the Nyquil, and the Oreos, and the new vidya game, and pretty soon he's blown the deadline, so has to console himself with Twitter, Nyquil, and Oreos.
