I really disagree surf with the part about SJWs. Most of them seem to believe that transwomen are women, full-stop, and so the fact that she's a transwoman who trades on feminism won't bother them at all.

Thing is, they realize this isn't literally true, and the delusion they want to believe relies on reinforcing Wu's own delusions. It's why koolaid drinking shitholes like RationalWiki will defy the very intent of their alleged mission to deny Wu is a tranny (like that dumbfuck Hipocrite). They also betray the lie for what it is by always trying to stop deadnaming, but simultaneously keeping repeating to the world transwomen are women period to bring the delusion barrier back up.

SJWs literally want feels to replace inconvenient truths in reality, and on this subject, they would rather disown Wu if they had to to keep the delusion going rather than admit Wu is trans.

Because Wu isn't the only deluded asshole who believes the 'transwomen are women" bullshit.

I like how she lists Shigeru Miyamoto under "mentors". Professionally, a mentor usually refers to a professor, boss, or other established person in your field who has given you one-on-one coaching and is willing to help you network. Knowing who someone's mentors were can give you an idea of what higher level work they've been exposed to, what particular working methods or techniques they likely know, and who might be willing to vouch for them.

Nah Miyamoto knows lots of lolcows and has a keen interest in seeing their fantasies turned into video games.

Nah, I don't think you've got it right here. Even the most rabid SJW wouldn't argue that transwomen are literally the same as women in all respects. They just subscribe to a definition of "woman" that includes transwomen, or even people who declare themselves female without bothering to even shave their beard. So it wouldn't break the social-justice narrative at all if Wu came out as trans.
On the other hand, it would hurt her standing with the radfems, and with any particularly-oblivious white knights who were just around to drool over a "cool geek girl".

Alright, maybe not all of them, most are at least aware enough not to double down THAT hard, but trust me, even SJWs have a lunatic fringe even other SJWs consider batshit crazy (but they humor for the most part because they crave allies), and Wu is friends with quite a few of them.

Wasn't there an article floating around somewhere that Wu wrote about transitioning? I think it was posted in the other thread but I'm having a bit of a time digging it up... was that even real or am I remembering incorrectly?

EDIT: okay sorry I found it

John (as "Brianna Walker Flynt") did a little "artwork" for the "The Corset Issue" of "Drink Tank" back in the fall of 2007.

Those giant man hands... that man foot... no nose... that chin.... Still drawing like he did in "Socially Unconscious".

Now all he needs to do is swap a giant stomach belt for the corset and slap on some granny glasses.

And there is the link between John Walker Flynt and Brianna Walker Flynt. The art style is the same. With Brianna Walker Flynt being pictured at a protest its quite clear Brianna Walker Flynt is Brianna Wu ergo John Walker Flynt is Brinna Wu. Has that pdf and the protest pic been archived?

So if I called Wu "Brianna Walker Flynt" I'm not technically deadnaming, right? Since that is essentially her maiden name and one she went by before marrying Frank.

The Journalism one is the easiest.

Her own Wikipedia page:

And her LinkedIn:

We have a bunch of recorded incidents of 'em tweetsaved. @Luminous Being and @Cynical could provide.

Suffice to say, we may be triggering a salt-storm of biblical proportions soon, so Kiwis, make sure you're ready with sippy-cups.

None of those actually say she has a degree, only that she attended in those departments. That in and of itself is pretty telling.

Trans issues are one of the funniest things about social justice. You can get a scenario that sets extreme manhating against trans inclusivity when they do a "no men allowed" event. Usually, trans wins out, but if they make no attempt at all to look like a woman, it's fucking hilarious, because that's one of those things that splits SJWs evenly.

That's it? Just a bunch of people pointing out Wu is wrong? This is what's causing her to scream for an adult?

Didn't you know it's illegal to disagree with a tranny?

edit: Some dick sucking is about to happen...

I wonder if this asshole is someone who needs his own thread. I guess we'll see.

It's "deadnaming" to call a tranny anything other than whatever shit he made up this morning, even if it's a pronoun that consists of doing a Russian kick dance.

As usual now, while you merry lot of piranha are enjoying the fresh blood in the water, I'm stuck a few pages back where Wu's determined idiocy thumps against my skull.

Quick Ibrahim, the Goyim know. Double down!

Hmmm... An Unreal Engine expert... Now where could we find one of those... Oh! I know! In this talk:

You said:

"My name is Briana Wu.
I'm head of development at Giant Spacekat.
I'm kind of an expert in the Unreal Engine.
You know, when I got into this field,
like most software engineers, I did this
because I love engineering, I love programming,
I love all this geeky stuff."

AND

"I will tell you, straight up, I know more
about running the Unreal Engine on Apple platforms, Apple
mobile platforms, than almost anyone else.
You can probably find, 20, 30 people,
maybe, in the world that understand
the subject as much as I do."

Population of the World: about 7 billion. I mean, you're awfully optimistic, hoping that the 1/4.285714285714286e -9 th of the population that knows more about Unreal than you is reading your Twitter right now.

...

Oh. You fixed it? So that one guy who said you didn't need DirectX11 was right and not mansplaining like you said?

I've a feeling you could find that number, likely more, working for Epic Games alone. That's not even considering all the companies that have produced high quality games with the engine; Wu acts like they're the only one that uses Unreal.

The tweet where she claims to have a degree shows that Wu will lie as much as she likes because no one will call her out or the sycophants won't care.

Its strange. She says she has a degree but she says it isnt in CS. Its like shes trying to talk around actually saying it. Are we sure she didnt get a degree from Millsaps? Do we have records from them yet?

We do. It says John Flynt enrolled but didn't gain a degree.

I've commented on it before, it's just her MO. She seems to think that lying by implication is basically OK in a way that just flat out telling the lie isn't. Perhaps as if she could plausibly deny claiming to have a degree because it's totally unreasonable to take her statements at face value or something.

By the way, have people seen these weird little video snippets?

There's a whole series of them
. I've never noticed before, but she's got a big scar up at her hairline. I guess from cosmetic surgery, and her hair has since receded enough to uncover it. Also, brush your fucking hair before you go on camera, jeez.

Does anyone have a source on where Brianna claimed to attend Bush's inaugural ball, or an inaugural ball?

Minor point, but there is no one "inaugural ball" that fancy or connected people get to go to. After a presidential election, there are literally hundreds of inaugural balls across DC -- it's just an excuse to have a party.

There are "official" inaugural balls, but that just means the president ducks his head in for a few minutes and then moves on. There were eight official balls for Bush's first inauguration and nine for his second.

So best case scenario, she went to one of eight or nine events that were probably $100 per ticket; worst case, she pretty much just went to a regular party.

Some states in the US require software-engineers that want to use the title to become licensed. Mississippi is, sadly, not one of them. However, after searching around a bit it seems that it is generally frowned upon by the community to call yourself a software-engineer when you don't have enough experience or the eduction to substantiate using the title.

Skirting around the issue like Wu does is not taking away the fact that it's kind of dishonest.
