So your suggestion is that she shall accept a life as trophy tranny?
Well, why not? She cna live the dream of every thailandian hooker then.

I ran the numbers, and it's an achievable career that's well matched to her qualifications and experience. 98% match - trophy tranny. The results also say that Wu is a horrible person. I'm serious, that's what it says: "A horrible person." We weren't even testing for that.

EDIT: Steve Lubitz actually makes a joke about Wu's lack of college degree! He says, at 29:09, "...You have

EDIT the 2ND: Immediately after the above, Wu accuses someone of poisoning her dog "Kablam", (love those petnames) evidence being that said canine is "peeing blood". Wu says she was "hesitant to discuss for fear of harassment". OK, I'm a dog person so perhaps this bugs me more than it should, but....what's the deal with Wu losing dogs? Just how badly are these poor animals being neglected?

Note: Wu says that "they're gonna finish up their vacation" and that "it's lookin' like the dog's gonna be fine".....so I guess take all this with a grain of salt? Wu discusses all of this with a noticeably flat affect, mentioning Crash and rat poison fears, even while admitting that Crash was tested for such and the results were negative, but concludes: "...It's just that fear, ya know?" She also mentions GooberGrape: "....doxxing her everyday, ya know?", as if plans to kill her pets were being discussed on KIA.

I officially stopped listening at this point. Wu's insane ego / paranoia has short shrift with me.
Really telling of Wu's priorities when he's busy doing some podcast instead of getting his dog the care it needs.

After listening to the new Isometric, a note...

Bri, thanks for not conflating me with GG, but honey you have to get over yourself. I don't like you because you are a liar and fraud. It's that simple. You have zero for me to be jealous about.

Also, thanks for the shout out because you once again confirmed that you stalk this thread more than anyone.

She has no income outside of victim bux. Frank is bankrolling GSX in the same way that a rich husband might fund a boutique for his wife so she can have her own little business, which in most cases runs at a loss. Maybe Wu is receiving money from her parents? Either way, she’s a kept woman.

It's doubtful that Frank is putting any more money into GSX. They blew through his life savings hiring employees to do the work that was beneath Brianna Flynt, who was busy doing podcasts and talks and twittering. It's not like they have to pay rent on GSX offices or anything.

She spends her Patreon bucks on toys and works on the lighting of the almost-ready Rev60PC release.

Lol, just checked Wu's Patreon.

Lost 2 patrons, but it jumped by $100.

He's losing relevance, and is obviously shaking down people behind closed doors to pretend to himself it isn't that bad.

I also did a check of Wu's diehard fans on his private account. All of them are either longtime friends on Isometric or incredibly pathetic beta male SJWs who openly sell their dignity to look progressive.

And neither group is especially large.

This could be a new beginning for Wu. First let’s look at her current life. Her only income appears to be Patreon donations, which are collected under the pretence of being a “woman” under siege by misogynistic gamers who want gaming to be a sausage-fest. She can’t maintain that narrative without stirring up controversy, but that’s when she’ll attract closer scrutiny, and Milo or someone else dropping a bombshell. If she lowers her profile, then almost certainly her Patreon will decline. She’s not going to sell many copies of Revolution 60, if it’s ever released, unless she can rouse people to buy it for ideological reasons. So there’s her current situation.

But there is a possible solution, which Wu won’t take. If we look at her living arrangements, it seems quite obvious that she’s a kept wife. She’s a strong independent woman, the “Godzilla of feminists”, who don’t need no man, except for being entirely financially dependant on him.

Frank is bankrolling GSX in the same way that a rich husband might fund a boutique for his wife so she can have her own little business, which in most cases runs at a loss. Maybe Wu is receiving money from her parents? Either way, she’s a kept woman. She has no marketable talents, and has rendered herself unemployable even by Gawker standards. She’s fucked if Frank ever gets tired of bumping testicles with her, or at least would then rely entirely on her wealthy parents. Is she even in contact with them?

Financially she's set. She could withdraw from controversy and actually spend her time developing games, instead of rabble-rousing for her Patreon. She’ll never make a decent living from games, but she doesn’t have to. She has others to pay the bills while she fiddles around with her hobbies. Keep Frank happy, don’t seek out controversy, and the little wife could get on just fine. Her parents will die, and presumably leave her the spoils, so she doesn't even need to earn an income. Assuming she hasn't entirely burnt her bridges with her family, which is doubtful, she could always fall back on them should Frank ditch his lady husband.
I always wondered if her parents wrote her out of the will yet.

Could some of those Patreons be sockpuppets? It loses money, since the website takes a cut. But it would keep up the illusion of popularity.

That's probably my biggest lolcow-dream-that-will-never-happen: someone interviewing one of Wu's parents. Not only would it bring fascinating insight, the resulting chimpout would be incredible, especially if it turns out that Wu isn't adopted and was never thrown onto the streets.

EDIT: Oh, and they could probably prove that her multitude of friends killed by the patriarchy didn't exist as well.

When I looked through Patreon data I didn't really see evidence of this.

I wasn't looking extremely hard, because it's always struck me as really silly. Why let Patreon skim a bunch of dollars off the top to move money around?

I know we think that there is just no way anyone could really support Wu, but she does have her fans. There being a few hundred people in America who support her enough to spend a few bucks a month really isn't that nuts.

is the rev60 art better than dobson's art?

It depends.

If you're talking SOCCON era, then no. Dobson's art beats Wu's up and takes its lunch money.

If you're talking Revolution 60 itself, the digital models are above anything Dobbybear can do. Only trouble is, Wu didn't make those.

who is worse? wu or dobson?

Mathematically, Wu seals it: More sanctimonious, more hugboxy, more damage done through her actions, bigger failures under her belt (two massively expensive ventures that failed utterly in SOCCON and Giant SpaceKat), and Dobson actually graduated.

Also Dobby has more self-awareness. How Wu's not gotten some kind of lifetime achievement award from this, I haven't the foggiest, but it's something darkly fascinating to say the least.

Good point. It can't be very expensive to pay the wages of Natalie, the imaginary employee. And the rent must be pretty cheap for the imaginary office where Natalie sits waiting for Wu to bark requests at her via the office Twitter account. It would then appear that Revolution 60 is likely to be both their first and last offering. Regardless of its quality, it cost a lot to make, and Wu doesn't have the talent to go full indie and make a game by herself. Does she expect that Revolution 60 will bring in enough money to fund further development, or will Wu trash GSX and move in to the next vehicle for her self-aggrandisement? Who will foot the bill for Wu's next vanity project?
