How long will Revolution 60 come to Steam?

So, with Revolution 60 being around 700mb, I decided to take a look at the games I own and see what's either lower or in the same ballpark. I think it could be a fun game for everyone here and will allow you to have some perspective on what sort of mess that game is going to be.

Legend of Grimrock is 720mb. It's an outstanding, old school dungeon crawler that I highly recommend if you liked games like Pool of Radiance or Eye of the Beholder. Here are a couple of screenshots for comparing it to Rev60:

I'm going with a solo project to critize Whooo (read with Skull Face voice) and maybe teach it (I could use them, but doesn't deserve it) some humility.

Cave Story, an originally freeware game that after its success was ported to PSP, 3DS , WiiU and Mac. The developer did everything (music, pixel art, coding...) by himself on his own free time for 5 years. The game it's basically a metroidvania and barely reaches 5MB (the freeware version, the Steam port is about 200 MB), yet it looks pretty good for a free time project. But Br (Hue) can't fucking release the game with a KS fund. Jesus Christ.

I could post a screencap, but the freeware version is still available. So just google it and play it. :D

Wasn't Stark always portrayed as an asshole?

In Civil War he was portrayed as a uber asshole that was willing to do anything to make the superhero community accept the registration act, that include even given a massive beating to Spider Man because he believe Stark was crossing the line several times even when he was with him in the beginning, Daredevil call him a traitor and give him 30 silver coins when he is captured, other heroes begun to scorn him and only when everything went to shit it was when he stopped being a prick.

In other news for some reason John keeps updating Revolution 60 in the steam server

As long as we're posting about indie games better than Revolution 60, I think Hotline Miami deserves a mention. It's a lot like Revolution 60, actually - both are around 700mb in size, both were made by a very small indie dev team (one crazy tranny etc. vs. two crazy Swedes), and both look like an LSD nightmare. But unlike Rev 60, Hotline Miami's a really good game. And oh god that soundtrack.

Is Natalie doing tech support?
Tech support is going to be a riot for this game. Brianna is inevitably going to flip out on some poor mope for being a gamergoblin when he writes in to complain about the game crashing or running too slow.
"I'm getting hundreds of similar complaints, they must all be coming from a botnet!!!"

Flynt-Wu would never be cool enough to have even heard of Sun Araw. I wish that he had the hubris to try and pull a John Carpenter. Imagine that fun!

Speaking of soundtracks, let's not forget that Brianna Wu literally made a remix of the Canteena theme from Star Wars her Game's battle theme.

StamDB still seeing some updates.

I don't know if SteamDB just can't see the price or if Wu has it set to $0 at the moment. Also interesting that gifting is disabled. "Status available"?

New price! Maybe. This is more inline with Wu's original pricing from last year, around double the cost of the iOS version.

Deluxe version vs standard is interesting though, the entire games supposed to be the "Special Edition" so I wonder what the deluxe version will be. Soundtrack and the background book maybe?

He won't release the game. He's just fiddling with the Steam database entry so he can claim he's doing something to appease his Paetron backers.

More worried about the KS backers.

They were discussing actions to take if it wasn't out soon.

The game's definitely coming, and we will devour it.

It appears to be just about cross-region trading. This may be because the game has regional prices (thank god), so buying it in Russia ends up being 50% cheaper than in the US, for example. Most games with regional prices do this, and if thats the case, its not a big deal.

It was mentioned before, no idea on the soundtrack tho.

To clarify:
- I know jack shit about releasing a game on Steam
- I missed four deadlines in two weeks

"We are not for sale yet" is not how anyone bringing a product to market announces that the product is not available. That "Rev60 will not be $40" could use some work, too. I hate to think how bad Flynt/Wu's writing would be if he didn't have that journalism degree from Ole Miss.

Interesting observation from Bro:
The screenshot shows a text file behind the black box. Said text file looks similar to the text in the box. Did she copy-paste the info to make it look like she did something? Is the game really uploaded?

Yesterday I made a post that linked to what is believed to be Revolution 60's information on the site SteamDB (an aggregate of Steam update info). If you check the historical information for Rev 60's application it was dead for months before coming back to life with tons of minor updates starting yesterday. SteamDB cautions that "changenumber" updates are not necessarily indicative of anything major, or anything at all, but if Wu is claiming that changes were submitted to Rev 60 on steam it appears this website is corroborating that story.

Did any of his followers bother to ask where he supposedly did all of that journalism?
Seems like you'd be able to find at least one article by "Brianna Flynt," or whatever he claims his last name was before Wu, online.

You can find a few articles by John Flynt that were written for the student papers at the two universities he attended -- but did not graduate from.

These stories were almost certainly written as class requirements for a couple of journalism courses, it being standard practice at many journalism departments that students have to work for the school paper while they are taking certain reporting and editing classes. Flynt/Wu's experience as a "crime reporter" consists of calling the university and local police departments a couple of times a week and writing brief stories about crimes reported on or near campus. It requires no investigative skills, no interviewing techniques, little ability to write and -- best of all from Flynt/Wu's perspective -- almost no effort.

There are zero byline hits for John Flynt, Brianna Flynt or Brianna Wu at any real-world newspaper.

Putin should outlaw it for promoting troonery.
