God damn, that sure is a good video. And this is what I hate most about Brianna Wu. She's complaining about feeling terrified over Internet bullies. That's it. And you know what? Across the ocean in a land called the Middle East, there are children and women being raped and sold into slavery.

All of that conflict in the Middle East, and Brianna fucking Wu is complaining about negative attention she willingly brought upon herself. It's fucking nuts. The whole GamerGate vs SJW bullshit is fucking nuts.

Just realized something. Gawker and Kotaku going the way of the dodo will mean that two of the biggest outlets Wu has sucked off as ethical journalism will not only cease to exist very soon, he's going to look so fucking retarded for backing that horse.

Worse, he just lost some valuable cheerleaders, since they were the ones who helped signal boost some of his early lies into prominence.

At the very least, the whole of Gawker Media is going to be under court supervision as to what they can do, whether because Hulkamania runs wild on them and puts them into receivership or whether they voluntarily declare bankruptcy before then.

At that point, the purpose of bankruptcy is to maximize the value of the estate to the creditors, which is Hulk at this point though he might be behind certain secured creditors. In any event, they won't be able to put up an appeals bond to stay the proceedings before then, so it'll be up to the bankruptcy court, which could do anything from allow them to operate in the interim while things are finished off, to immediately dissolving everything and putting everyone out of work.

It really depends on what would maximize value to the creditors. The principals of Gawker can eat a bowl of dicks.

Keep biting those nails, John.

Wu worried about his white knights.jpg

And even though Hatman is a traitorous ex-KIA mod, even he's wise enough to realize Wu has a BS argument:

Why would John feel worried? He's not a journalist or anything.

Yeah, the woman who frequently brags about using her "backchannels" and personal relationships to get whatever she wants posted somewhere is concerned about ethics.

Can you possibly be less full of shit, Wu?

All this shit, just because of ethics in vidya games. (:_(

Most of this has very little to do with GamerGate, much as they would like to believe otherwise. They gave Wu prominence on the issue, sure, but she's the face of a part of society that existed long before GamerGate. If it hadn't been ethics in video games she would have tried to hitch her wagon to something else. She thrives on sympathy and victimhood.

EDIT: Hat is some sperg who used to mod KIA before Brianna "backchanneled" with him, giving him some unwarranted self-importance and ended up storming out after they wouldn't stop making fun of his favorite tranny.

A very common misconception with Brianna is that she represents a sort of "monster we created" amongst Gamergate supporters - analogous to how many believe that the nascent Trump candidacy is representative of blastback against so-called "PC Culture." Whilst it's easy to look at what she's doing and going: "well, obviously Gamergate is feeding this somehow," the fact of the matter is that in the case of Wu, they really didn't.

People saw what Wu was literally hours in, seeing her sensationalism as mercenary and nothing further. She's been essentially persona non grata on several GG-backing sites for a while (this is actually what brought the "Literally Who" moniker), because she literally matters that fucking little to the conversation that is Gamergate as a whole. Brianna had nothing to do with Gamergate until she repeatedly went out of her way to get some kind of response, at which point she deemed the response she got (mostly dispassionate ridicule) as indicative of harassment. Each time she tried to push harder to get someone - anyone to pay attention to her, she fucking failed, and the only people, ultimately, who paid her any attention besides the likes of the Farms and ED - and her followers - were the Weens and Trolls.

Look briefly over all of the most widely-discussed moments in her history, and you see a pattern - they're all non-issues and/or hoaxes. Operation Falsefag II came from Brianna Wu herself (or someone closely associated with her), as proven by the hashdata. Chatterwhiteman, Crash Wu, and several others were all from Something Awful, who did it to piss off Gamergate supporters (and ultimately only fed Wu). This leaves us with Deagle Nation, which is so well-documented by now that I need say nothing.

Derek Smart saw exactly what Wu was doing back in October of 2014.
Pretty much everyone involved knew that Wu was a lying sack of shit by the end of her first month trying to insert herself into the controversy.

The thing is, the Anti-GGers didn't care. At first. Wu took full advantage of her side's tolerance of intellectual dishonesty, cronyism, and graft, and she rode it to easy Patreon victimbux. You constantly hear people claim that this was Gamergate's fault, but the only thing Gamergate had to do for Brianna Wu to pull her shit was fucking exist. The sheer, balls-out hatred for Gamergate by the part of the usual suspects did the rest. It didn't last though, because Brianna Wu's loyalty is solely to Brianna Wu, and as long as she gets hers, fuck everyone else, and if you won't push the narrative, pay her Patreon, or kiss her ass, she has no use for you.

If Gamergate never happened, Wu would have continued the faux moral outrage she already was doing, enabled by the likes of Leigh Alexander and Ben Kuchera. The second the situation warranted, she would have jumped right into the fray, and this thread would have happened eventually anyway.

Yessssss. I hope Hulk chokeslams them into Hulkamania fuckarama. Gawker and Kotaku can eat huge steel kegs of snail dicks.
Don't miss the cringe, he has put "PeggleGod" in his name.

Fuck, it's so enraging. I really hate that she has managed to spill off the internet. Being featured on SyFy? This is taking her bullshit to a whole new level.

She obviously fed herself, so forgive me for suggesting it was GamerGate that did it. It's just absurd that it has gotten this far.
