I've already pointed out lots of ways trolls COULD mess with people before, just like ED has trolling tips on most of their articles.
Well your idea of drowning her with tweets so she has to block people is a master trolling tip. You should add that to the ED article.

Look who burned that tweet lol.

Too bad Wu, the internet is forever. https://tweetsave.com/spacekatgal/status/710733315045625856

lol what kind of tard has a twitter named "atheist cynic"

LOL. Wu tries to use that tweet to exonerate himself, it winds up containing damning information, he then burns it out of embarrassment. Whitford himself Favorited it, he just spit in Whitford's face with this little stunt.

Which is why I'm not on Twitter and never want to be. Besides, I've already pointed out lots of ways trolls COULD mess with people before, just like ED has trolling tips on most of their articles.

As far as Wu's concerned, I'm just outlining hypotheticals, I have no intention of doing any of it, and others here have done likewise, but time and again, Wu reacts to people being handed the means to attack him with utter shock and outrage, even if he's the idiot to hand those people the gun already loaded.

lol pussy

Someone posted a retweet earlier of a VR panel Wu 'headlined' today : http://schedule.sxsw.com/2016/events/event_PP53947
This might be the slideshow for the panel?

"VR is an empathy machine"
"VR is more emotional than movies or games"

Just like how 3DTV makes me cry more than my HDTV
I definitely laugh more watching SYFY on my HDTV than on my flatscreen
But all games are definitely more emotional that movies
And movies are always better than books
and books are better then trading scary stories over a campfire.

The medium is not the fucking message.

Trust Wu to evangelize new expensive tech for personal gain, to pretend that she's an engineer on the cusp of new technology she doesn't understand but thinks is cool and is definitely gonna buy both on day of release to complain on Twitter about the inherent misogyny and transphobia that dominates the VR industry and that shes the only cure.

The HTC Vive is gonna cost £689/$899. You need 1080x1200 per eye at 90Hz just to prevent motion sickness. They all have to have sensors to warn you when your gonna walk into a wall. Things might "look" realistic, but you still cant touch anything. Facebook and Valve racing to sell expensive plastic.

I can't even read Wu's twitter today. It's just lies on top of lies, covering lies about lies.

I gaze long into the Wu-abyss, and Wu just snarls back. Help me Kiwis.

That's Wu's entire MO, isn't it? Make believe about being at the forefront of innovative technology &/or social issues, when in reality those things are still in their infancy.

VR is a nice concept and all, but at the moment nothing but a toy. Once VR goes mainstream, in the sense that maybe doctors can use it to perform remote surgery or something, then you can maybe think about adding fluffy stuff like emotional reading or wahtever to it. Until then it's nothing more than a field that is being actively researched.

There is no escape.

You know what I think is the funniest thing ever? Harassing Brianna Wu on the internet and tweeting jokes about rape. Also I like comedic webcomics that portray gamergate in a positive light because gamergate is the greatest civil rights struggle of our time. I support gamergate.

This is hilarious.

And speaking of comedy:

He quit drinking koolaid, Wu.

Here, I think I did it right. What's funny is that Wu's account came up as the first account featured for tweetsaving. @Cynical and co. should be proud of all the archiving and sorting they've done. :heart-full:

Why not make another account tho? Wu just hasn't blocked me because I hardly tweet and have only tweeted at people to check google and to avoid slap fighting with Wu's cronies.
I was auto-blocked for following other Kiwis, I believe. & I can barely keep track of my throwaway accounts on various sites as it is. :(

Though to be fair to Wu, it does seem like Gina fucked up. Not as much as the governor, obviously, by still. Or maybe Wu just gets buttblasted whenever she hears anything that sounds like her maiden name, regardless of context. Like a Pavlovian response.

All I know is that Cheong's group, Gameranx, has seemed to be on the upswing - at least their YouTube presence (Alexa seems to be holding steady). They've been putting out interesting content for months now and in less than a year have gone from like 500k subs to 1.7 million subs. I also know they just moved to some new offices, so I assume they're doing just peachy.

People, focus, or I'm going to have to ban certain users from this thread. Those offending know who they are.

EDIT: Or @Alan Pardew could beat me to the punch and let me make a complete fucking fool of myself.

Goddamnit. :heart-empty:

If you look at Wu's bizarre facial expressions, like the deranged snarl tic, it's no wonder Wu would think something like this. Wu has the facial skills of Chris-Chan, both in reading them and producing them. Wu's facial expressions look like something a bad AI would produce.

So if someone confirms, what, is she going to get on her soapbox and wag her finger? Again?

PLEASE CONFIRM SO I KNOW WHAT TO BE PISSY AT TODAY! IT'S NOT LIKE A GOT A GAME TO RELEASE OR ANYTHING!

Maybe she's bitter because her little SXSW party was a fucking joke meanwhile sounds like awesome things are going on at the GDC. As yes Wu, there were female game developers there - lots of them.

Here we go again. The social justice crew absolutely loves bitching about scantily-clad women at GDC because the GDC/IGDA is run by progressives who will bend over backwards for them.
Now Brianna's starting it up again for 2016.
