These chimpouts remind of the U.S. after every presidential election.
Honestly, they're acting even more childish than we do whenever one of the clowns win.

I guess they're not used to a majority telling them to fuck off.

Oh, those were delightful, Pillock. I much prefer "Remnants" over "Remainiacs." It makes 'em sound regressive, which will surely stick in a few craws.

All this salt cannot be good for me.

Such a nice thread about Brexit on the VOGONS forums until this happened just a few hours ago:

Then it got subsequently locked after a few more posts.

This is the same country where the SNP have a large fanbase. Clearly, over half of them are not right in the head.
Isn't that because Labour went full retard and gave the finger to their main voting base though? All I remember is one of the parties cocked it up so bad that that's how they got in.

As for the Remnant sobbing it up on Vogon, clearly she forgets her commonwealth, who happily will want to trade with the UK now that the Zollverein Europa doesn't dictate any policy on that. As will Murika and China.

"Will 0.3% to the budget make a difference?"

Well. No. 0.3% every week actually would equate to a 15.6% budget increase if we'd hurled all of it at the NHS. But that would be very stupid.

The "real figure" the NHS is getting under Brexit plans is actually a 5.2% yearly increase at £100 million a week. (The rest of the money is generally going to more efficient UK development funding, current subsidies etc.)

Which is... well, the equivalent of a hospital a month. Fully funded, staffed and equipped. For a year. So... 12 hospitals a year. With staff and equipment.

Considering the UK can be pretty efficient with grants, subsidies etc when it wants to be, and I am aware I am in my "best case scenario" mode again, we might find ourselves funding all current grants and subsidies and still finding a few quid left over to do things with.

Most likely some of that money will go back in to pay for our access to the EEA.

Glenn Greenwald is a gigantic asshole much of the time but he truly hit the nail on the head on this one.

Pfff he immediately used it to go on a diatribe about the evils Western governments have inflicted on the rest of the planet, notably the Iraq invasion. This faggot loves to bring up the invasion he himself cheered on as part of the chicken hawk yellow media, like some sort of zealous reformed drunk endlessly preaching about the evils of alcohol. Not sure how it ties in to Brexit and disatisfaction with the establishment that has shut out and ignored a large portion of the electorate for a long time, except in Greenwald's mind.

This globalist piece of shit that rails against Western culture and civilization constantly pretending he's siding with the common european man is hilarious.

It’s natural — and inevitable — that malignant figures will try to exploit this vacuum of authority. All sorts of demagogues and extremists will try to redirect mass anger for their own ends. Revolts against corrupt elite institutions can usher in reform and progress, but they can also create a space for the ugliest tribal impulses: xenophobia, authoritarianism, racism, fascism.

As Hayes put it in his book, the challenge is “directing the frustration, anger, and alienation we all feel into building a trans-ideological coalition that can actually dislodge the power of the post-meritocratic elite. One that marshals insurrectionist sentiment without succumbing to nihilism and manic, paranoid distrust.”

Yes, only the proper, learned, educated people like Greenwald are wise enough to know where to "channel" this frustration, unlike the "exploitative demagogues". The distinction may be superficial from an exterior point of view, but I'm sure it's crystal clear to Greenwald.

Except the Iraq War was one of the symptoms of the illness in Western politics. Our government lied to the people, claimed something that it had no proof for and then invaded, expecting the people to follow along. In my opinion, the Iraq War was the beginning of the rising anti establishment sentiment. There, for the first time in the new millennium, our government had been caught red handed.

There's a reason why the Soviet Union collapsed into most of its constituent peoples; the big nations pushed around the smaller ones and demanded they did what they wanted. The EU will learn a similar lesson.

So you think the disatisfaction with the EU that led to Brexit stems from the exact same base as the anti-war sentiment leading to the Iraq war. Can you remind me how many people were pro-war, again? I was under the impression the vast majority of people in the UK and the various "coalition of the willing" countries were not in favour of it, across the political spectrum. Particularly the left-wing. This is similar to Brexit...how exactly?

this thread is meant to be for capping extreme salt.

I get that people wish to discuss the referendum and the general media around it- but that is better suited to the E&N thread.

Sorry, powerlevel but seeing Greenwald's smug wanker face plastered above his articles always puts me in a foul mood. Ever since this utter faggot compared France's Mali intervention with the fucking Iraq invasion and called it colonial imperialism I can't even entertain his bullshit anymore. There would've been an ISIS in the Sahara before there was ISIS if it hadn't been for that fucking intervention. And of course the disengenuous little cunt never brought up the region again, for some mysterious reason.

Took a bit, but my favorite conspiracy-theory-tourism websites are finally churning with the news about what "really" was the cause for the brexit.. (having had to finally put the matter of who the "real" culprit behind the Orlando shooting to rest first)

No fear, they have it solved, it was the Evil Powers That Be (tm)

How do they know?

Well, they've long known that the Paris and Brussels attacks were all obvious false-flag ops by the EPTB, now we know WHY they were being faked! To give the appearance that the EU was weak and ineffective so that people would not trust it in a vote..... the EU is weakened, win for EPTB!

Unless of course this is all part of the plan for the EU to justify ramping up the pressure on member states in a solidarity move, which will mean a crackdown on civil rights, in which case, brexit was orchestrated by the EPTB to hasten a Pan-European police state, so, win for EPTB!

See? EPTB wins ALL THE TIME!!!

Konspiracy are Easy!

I just love how in the minds of social justice tards white people are basically eldritch abominations, mysterious all powerful beings capable of altering the global landscape at will and engaging in chaos purely for chaos's sake.

I call it the neo White Man's Burden worldview. With great power, comes great responsability, white people are apparently all powerful (mostly because of conquering and exploiting the rest of the planet, a sin that must be redeemed and balanced). It is therefore a collective duty to make things right, to have true justice, social justice if you will, for all mankind.
It's both arrogant and hypocritical when put in practice, and seems to create the very problems it claims to try and solve. So exactly like the original White Man's Burden.

The shadowy figures sitting around a table in a smoky room, sipping cognac, smoking cigars and deciding the fate of millions, the direction of nations and the destiny of man. It's quite a dramatic picture, in a sense. Conspiracy theorists are just hopeless romantics. The nitty gritty of reality is much more mundane. And occasionally horrifying.

They seem to think racism against whites is progressive because it's only fair for the world to "get even".

Anything that holds people accountable for crimes they didn't commit, based solely on shared ethnicity with those who did, will do that... funny huh?
