Seriously though do they just want a leader like Ed Miliband or David Cameron who repeats party policy and avoids difficult questions to the extent they sound like a robot?

No but corbyn actively sabotaged labour's remain strategy according to several reports.

He's always been solidly brexit before the party forced him to be pro Europe.

I think corbyn's going to resign tomorrow or in a few days. If that does happen somebody should go to Guardian's CIF and screencap everything.

Corbyn's always seemed like one of the few actual left-wingers in the party rather than the champagne socialist type. I'd have preferred it if he'd kept strong with his position, but I guess if you're outmanned you're outmanned. Good on him for doing his best though.

He's slightly incompetent but he is genuine and left wing. I feel like he might have thrown it deliberately since he's been against European involvement for so long. This was his only opportunity to achieve his goals.
 
Corbyn resigning would probably need its own thread on the sheer scale of the salt.

Thing is, even if he did resign or is pushed out... he gets the right to run without needing to be reselected and Momentum won't be quick to forgive.

Here's something from a Westminster insider:

"Diane Abbot is completely correct that plotters have had this planned for months. A few months ago, before any referendum campaigning, I happened to overhear a private conversation by Peter Mandelson with Labour Blairites activists. He said the plan was to wait until the referendum was over, accuse Corbyn of whatever, then remove him. Asked if Corbyn could restand, Mandelson appeared not to be sure but said the plan was to have only one person go up against him to deny the membership choice. At that point of course he did not imagine the meltdown of Labour in northern England.

It's interesting that with the election of Corbyn and now the Brexit disaster they all seem to have forgotten without Scotland they are totally fucked anyway."
 
I hate how the butthurt Remainers just throw around the word "fascist" like some sort of nonsense word that you can just substitute for any other bad meaning you want it to mean. They got to VOTE. It isn't fucking fascist.
 
I'm hearing this sort of cowed fear from Remainers again and again tbh. There was one disabled girl terrified that all her rights would now be removed because of Brexiteers. This is how bad Remain campaigned.

It ignores the fact the UK actually has a better track record on rights for the disabled and for women than mainland europe did.
