"Oh no, I've been unfriended on Facebook. What ever shall I do."

Go outside and start talking to your family, whilst trying to score concessions from your Facebook Friends as they panic and start wondering if they should start unfriending each other.

It's ironic that London are the ones panicking the most when statistically it is the least likely city in the UK to be adversely affected by Brexit.

And I say that as one of the panicking Londoners.

Are these people retarded? I wonder if they try to divorce their wife and think they still get to fuck her afterwards.
Its not quite as retarded as it sounds- the UK was a net contributer so the money that came to Cornwall from the EU had already left the UK. They are asking the UK gov to keep the money coming even though the EU middleman will be gone.

Such salt, this time from a bunch of pseudo anarchists. Note once again the contempt for the working classes that the modern left indulges in.

EDIT: Slightly off topic thought, but Oxford University in particular seems to be a breeding ground for lolcows in that a disproportionate number of its graduates that I've encountered have gone on to have serious mental health problems and/or to act in a threadworthy manner.

It sure is a breeding ground for lolcows, look at the current Conservative government lol. Though I think Labour is just as bad lol.

True. I was thinking worthies like the Blades of the Bullingdon Club, many wanker bankers, Laurie Penny, et al. The lolcow population of Oxford University is roughly 50% spoilt rich kids and 50% SJWs.

Dear people feeling uneasy about Britain leaving and all Remainers,

I was enjoying a gloat at the expense of my 50-something socialist remain voting pals today, and this other 20-something dude we know comes along.
He proceeds to smugly announce all the debunked "leave = xenophobe" propaganda brain-sludge we are laughing at in this thread. And to top it off,
he is a benefits parasite who flunked college and uses the "Bank of Mom and Dad". I told him to shut the fuck up and go buy me a goddamn tea.

My lefty Year 10 English teacher was moping about Brexit earlier. I didn't have the heart to tell her to suck it up, as she was pretty cool.

And yet they expect these very same people to agree with them. "Vote for my side you brainless cunts so stupid you actually work for a living!"

Some quotes from The Student Room:

Does anyone else feel genuinely depressed about Brexit:

http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=4185343

I've felt so down all day because of this, and just have this constant sick feeling in my stomach. I genuinely feel like I'm grieving.

Yes, I do. I'm seriously ****ed off at this because we're stuck with it. We're past the point of no return, and we can never go back to what we're about to lose...**** you, British public.

Took about an hour for my hands to stop shaking, and for my knees to return to some semblance of working order after I saw the result this morning. How I managed to get through a regular day at work afterwards, I don't even know.

~AngryJellyFish, 2016.

I felt kind of sick in the morning but have now recovered it was a weird feeling like something really really bad has happened. Hopefully Great Britain will recover and we go back to normal.

I feel terrible. I'm slowly coming to terms with the fact that my lifelong dream of working for Siemens or BMW as an engineer will probably not happen unless I move to Germany permanently. There's never been a worse time to be a scientist or an engineer in the UK.

I am genuinely depressed about the breixt because no one has a clue what's going to happen next because no one actually envisioned us leaving.

My girlfriend and I are moving to Australia if Boris becomes prime minister.

What can we do to stop Brexit?:

http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=4186401

We can't allow the old people and pub plebs to ruin everything for the young generation. Is there anything we can do to stop brexit

The reaction to this has been absurd and depressingly predictable. I'm scanning through Twitter looking for more insane Brexit stuff, but the propaganda machine has already kicked into high gear and it's just people parroting cherry-picked data from the media to represent their preferred point of view. I want real people vomiting non-stop because of the decision, or people wanting to genocide all brown people and take back Britain for the pagans.

The media shouldn't hype something up as the downfall of all civilization if they're just going to make it a boring old fascists vs. young freedom loving totally smart kids.

I think this entire situation is the direct result of the social media age and how people with little to no understanding of their own country's politics make their voting decisions based on how many of their friends share click bait articles and meme-like pictures to get their point across. Just take a look at how Clinton, Trump and Sanders supporters try to gain support of their friends on Facebook. It's worth not being on it at all during primary election years.

As a Remain voter, I'm pretty repulsed by the disingenuousness/intellectual laziness of several of my peers in assuming Brexit's main appeal was racism and far-right nationalism, and I can't say I blame any Brexiters who dismissed Remain because of the frivolous use of the racism card. It's this frustrating habit people have of oversimplifying complex political issues (especially the motives and nature of the people on the other side) that makes it more difficult to make an informed decision (partially because it's harder to find information untainted by partisan bullshit, partially because both sides repulse you with their behaviour), you know, for those of us who care enough about our country's future to want to be sure we're making the right choice.

Frankly, I didn't give much of a toss either way. From what little I could piece together from the staunchly non-factual mudslinging campaigns on both sides in the run-up to the referendum, neither was the clearly preferable option (even on ideological grounds) and both would have their consequences.

All day I've been hearing spergs about brexit. I warn them about the petition, and apparently they consider the notion that 10,000 signatures will prompt action.

The reality is that you can easily face it. They don't "IP" track shit

The 17 million votes are cast and the results are valid

The vote is over, gg labour

I also expect a wave of anti-geriatric crime to pay back those old white people for what they did.

I know this is a bit late, but uh - do they ever say what percentage was the students and which was the teachers/faculty? Because otherwise you've got a bunch of numbers compiled from a group of what basically amounts to college students.
