Breitbart is a right wing clickbait site that has been growing in popularity since GamerGate. It's full of GamerGate sperging, Donald Trump support, MRA propoganda, and right wing conspiracy theories.
Breitbart is also home to Milo Yannipolis, a gay Republican who has been writing a a book about GamerGate for over a year now. To no ones surprise it hasn't come out yet.
Like any good community it is full of intelligent and insightful commentors

Pretty much every news article is full of equally nonsensical comments, and the writers are just as bad. For some reason, people still think this is a news site and not buzzfeed without anything fun, so it often gets linked as a source.
Honestly almost everything on this site is terrible. I'm sure you've all come across it at some point.
 
They halfheartedly trolled a slutwalk and then made like 3-4 articles whining about how they got asked to leave and what a disgrace it is that the SJews could crush journalistic freedoms.

Because apparently doing shit like this is 'journalism'.

They have some value in that they'll occasionally break shit that nobody else will touch, like when half the mainstream media reported that gamergate shot up San Bernadino because a troll told them so and journalists apparently don't fact-check anything, ever. But for every decent scoop they default into, there's about a metric fuckton of self-fellating themselves over it afterwards.

This isn't news, it's reporting with a very obvious agenda.

Breitbart, WorldNutDaily and any other right wing website that posts news is obviously doing so from a right POV and they're going to give it a right wing spin. The same can be said for any left leaning website like the DailyKOS or Rawstory.

The man himself always came off as unhinged to me. Like he was this seething cauldron of crazy just waiting to go off.

I feel like Yiannopolous is almost single-handedly responsible for turning GamerGate into the conservative MRA circlejerk it is now. Every idiot with half a brain should have seen that the worst possible figurehead for a movement against unethical, politically manipulative journalism would be an unethical, politically manipulative journalist. But too many of them naively assumed that the enemy of their enemy was their friend.

I find it interesting that both sides contain as much click bait as the other. Heck, I'm sure there's a centrist click bait site as well.
 
Clickbait seems to be replacing a huge amount of proper journalism these days..and sites like breitbart are becoming more and more uncommon- absolute idiots passing themselves of as journalists while spewing incredibly biased and usually borderline (sometimes full on) autistic ideas..
 
I read Breitbart all the time. Its a place for us to go, those rare folk who miss the old Philadelphia days, wishing for things to fall back, instead of Leaning Forward.

Where juicy Donald Trump articles flourish and I can only go SPOT ON with certain quotes such as "Me being the front-runner is only one of life's little problems." without people rating me "Dumb" or, ironically, Islamic.

Needless to say, just like Conservapedia (something I'm beginning to dislike) it certainly does have its deservation of critisicm.

I just don't watch the mainstream media anymore, sick of that shit and just the sense of people reading words off a teleprompter with no emotion, just empty talking.
