Lay out his beliefs and defend them? On a right wing podcast? Bamthony would tell the same exact stories he has for a decade and sprinkle in a "let's go Brandon" or "Donny's an Earthrocker with 3 feet of pussy meat" and call it a day.
 
Bam took a pretty nasty looking fall. I don't get how you could keep skateboarding without a helmet when you're no longer an indestructbel teenager. No one mocked Hawk for having safety gear.

I like how Bam's tattoos now have basically become the scribblings of a wall in a old middle school. I'd like to know what the Britney Spears tattoo says. Other than that Bam uploaded a nice post celebrating Phoenix THE WOLF getting an elementary school award. Not really worth preserving but it's a picture of the thinner Bam so good to see Bam isn't too much an absentee Dad.

If Bam ever really does get to a state than anyone can respect him for regarding being sober, or at the very least whoever it was that he used to be he is not anymore their is one thing that no one in that situation can really avoid. It is a very and I mean borderline elephant's foot radioactive level of bitter pill to swallow about that person you were not being able to be hidden or what you did that you are now able to see how it was bad and you are ashamed of.

A-lot of people with arrested development have this issue when they finally mature out of that stage in their life and he has had it all over the media for the last 10 plus years. This is something that is now immortalized with him and everywhere he goes. It isn't like the days of jackass when the cameras were rolling that's about all they captured of it, he did this all over the internet and the world. ( award for most globe trotting lolcow? ). This is something that even on a super small scale compared to bam I have dealt with. It was only about what being lonely in the real world is like from a romantic standpoint. It wasn't even all that bad for me technically, she just didn't like me how I liked her and she and I have been friends since. But still knowing what was on the other side still hit like a ton bricks cause it built up in a way that I knew nothing about.

Without sperging too much about it between me and his experience to be; he has the aforementioned fucking nuclear bitter pill to swallow when he does hit maturation and it is going to be something he actually may not be able to reconcile with himself over. I have said many times in this thread he is an irredeemable piece of shit and I still stand by that but he will be out of one hell and into the other which could send him right back to where he is now in terms of manic depression.

TL:DR his punishment is a whole other layer of hell once he fully realizes what he has done.
 
Seeing Bam with DDP made me slightly hopeful. DDP is a genuine dude and definitely the kind of person anyone would want to have in their corner. Not sure what kind of relationship Bam has with him, but DDP has worked wonders on career addicts way worse than him.
 
As importantly, DDP has solid experience working with delusional, oversized ego’ed has-beens, so he may be uniquely positioned to help Bam in a way few others are.

This is why it is so hard for addicts and other types of people to confront the issues they are dealing with. It isn't just about confronting the problem, it is also about confronting the damage that has already been afflicted by the problem. A friend and I were recently discussing politics. One of the things we discussed was how people can't mentally deal with more radical politics because dealing with some uncomfortable truths completely obliterates their capability to function in society.

People like the two of us could encounter such topics and continue going about our day, while others would be the opposite. It is like they received a terminal black pill that they couldn't recover from. Imagine The Matrix but instead of Neo rising up in his new reality to take on the machines, he instead has a crippling mental breakdown that renders him useless.

One of the things that spurred this conversation on was a mutual friend who went down the whole natural food rabbit hole. You know GMOS, seed oils. That kind of stuff. If either one of us went down that same rabbit hole, we could have realized that this isn't the end of the world and would just make healthier decisions from that point forward. For our mutual friend however, they had a borderline existential crisis. They felt that they were poisoned their entire lives and they not only did irreversible damage to themselves but to their entire genetic line because of it.

For people like Bam, even if he had the capability to want to change he still has to confront the aftermath part of his addiction. His public humiliation, the damage he did to all of his relationships, his poor health. On top of all of those, the really mentally damaging to me is that he lost a solid amount of time to his addiction that he is never going to get back. Some of this stuff can be fixed, others can't. At the end of the day that isn't the end of the world, he can just move forward with his life. The problem is can he accept that.

This is really what will be the death of him I think. Once that 1 ounce of realization kicks in then he will be worse off than the GMO buddy you had. This is what I think a-lot of people are dealing with in the real world post covid but don't nearly have the understanding as we do to be able to make sense of it in a way that at least takes the edge off of it. This really is a sort of time bomb that is being released with the current administration also but that's another topic.

Kinda went off on a tangent but yeah, Bam is totally done for in a way that he can't even understand as it takes a large amount of time and effort on this topic to truly do so.

I never post ITT, but I just want to say that he looks great in these videos. I've been watching Bam on and off since the 90's, and I really hope he can turn himself around. I watched those two videos he did with the Dern Brothers somewhat recently, and if he keeps up at this pace he could actually make a comeback. He might be a washed up MTV celebrity, but he's a really entertaining dude with a lot of good stories and an autistically good recall of past events. Despite all of his shortcomings, I can't find myself wanting to see him fail. He's an incredibly talented guy, and seeing him flush it all away to become a drunken drugged out wreck is depressing.

I actually have no clue why he hasn't created a proper YouTube channel to create longform content, especially given how he got started with self released home movies back in the day. He has potential to blow up massively in the same way Steveo did, only I think Bam is way more capable of maintaining an audience as a result of him being entertaining sober as well as when he's acting like a total car crash. Steveo has become an unlikeable lying cocksucker with age and sobriety, IMO.

So I'm at work and can't really archive anything but Bam is all over Tony Hawk's IG today and word on the street is Bam is actually included in the new game but they didn't tell him till after the announcement because they didn't think he could shut the fuck up about it
 
Well, whatever the case is, dude isn’t crashing out (yet) so this is refreshing. I watched the clips with Tony Hawk and thought they were fun. Reminiscent of when he got smacked in the face with his own board after eating shit on the vert 20+ years ago.

I will take any and all liberties against Bam, but I can’t here. He is allegedly seeing his son between the visits with Tony and he seems genuinely complete. I haven’t seen a single picture of that fucking weird insectoid creature he hangs around recently. Good for him. How long will this natural high last?
