Just watched the Turkey Tom video on him. Not surprised, I could piece together the story just from tidbits here and there, but the extra details just made the outcome crystal clear. Crazy how pretty much everyone else in Jackass crew got their act together but him, or how much Nikki put up with him even with his drunken behavior.

I remember seeing the bloodhound gang in like.. 2005 or something. Whole gig was disgusting, saw a friend outside who had been right at the front and who had been invited back by the band, who apparently were picking girls out of the crowd.
Her boyfriend flatly refused which we thought was very shitty at the time but to be fair, we were like 15, so, uhh. Good on him I suppose.

They were at that shit for years upon years too. by the time we saw them, it should have been like, touring for money, taking it chill, professional gig by then, type of thing. they'd had huge hits and werent a new band. but they were hitting it fucking hard and that is gonna end up in more and more degenerate shit.

one of the band members, bassist maybe, drank a whole bottle of Jaagermiester in one go through a funnel, in order to vomit inside another ones trousers.
and then they asked everyone in the crowd to spit at them. so like, thousands of people, no matter where in the auditorium, started gobbing, so obviously everyone in front of everyone else (including, happily, the band themsleves,) but also the entire crowd, got covered in gross phlegm.
fucking glad i was at the bar at that moment for sure.
The guys would have been at least 35 by this point.

Something tells me the other people in his department didn't have nearly the problems he did with the command-climate & culture; it literally sounds like 95% of sheriff departments everywhere; as in stfu, get along to go along, and most importantly do your time without being a douchebag that nobody wants to work with. Plus, the nepotism isn't usually a thing outside of podunk single-stoplight townships with 2-3 deputies at most; advancement anywhere else it's purely political. You certainly can't run & win a campaign from a fucking Kickstarter.

I'd really like to read his OERs & hear what his real coworkers have to say about what it was  really like being on the job with him, not that Chat GPT/self-generated bullshit & self-fellating podcast. There's always at least one guy like him; the type with delusions of grandeur about being doorkickers & deep cover detectives, and they never last long. Even better is they always say the same shit about how terrible & corrupt the leadership is, how they can/could make it better, and would totally be supercop heroes if they weren't being held back or given a chance; but it's totally not their fault they can't work with anyone except dogs & inmates.

Hes asking fans on IG to send him artwork for boards he's going to release independently. He lists no rewards for this other than recognition
 
Bam doesnt get that people didnt want to see him do stand-up, and why would they? hes not funny
people wanted to see Steve-Os friend on his way back to sobriety, it was a pity thing, not a "YAY BAM" thing

Bam was all into it, until i guess he realised he wouldnt get any money for this, and the deal fell through
it was much messier than that but i dont recall the details

Hand me clocks if it was already mentioned but Steve-O was on the Adam Friedland Show podcast last week and mentioned Bam has managed to stay sober even with the ankle monitor off. I dunno how much I believe that, though. He also admitted that taking Bam on tour was a retarded idea, which I think all of us said back then.
