DM leaks are always fun drama which is the reason I was worried that they're now considered haram.

That said not everything needs to be featured and if someone else wants people to see it they could do like I did and feature it on their profile.

How? I'm not playing devil's advocate in the sense that I desperately want more DM leaks and I don't 100% believe in the Metokur refrain that your internet friends aren't real or whatever. I'm just genuinely curious as to why it would be a faux pas to leak DMs on a site that derives most of its content from people who overshare online. I don't use DMs precisely because I think the culture of the site tacitly discourages its use if you wanna avoid being made the subject of a thread, for better or worse.
