I got poked hard during sparing in eye by accident. It bled a little and i can still clearly see but my eye is still is bit more closed than left one
Any advice?

It's such a fucking joke. As the old saying goes, you don't play Boxing.

That fucking hermaphrodite / tranny / whatever could have seriously hurt that girl. Motherfuckers have died in the ring on many an occasion.

I hope that we get to a point in history where we look back on these days in horror...and that the perpetrators are either disemboweled or at the very least hanging from trees.

Let it heal completely, get it checked out by a doc if you're worried, and then back to sparring.
Thanks,
Good news is that it lasted few days before it healed and went back to normal.
This kinda made me start wearing protective gear for teeth too as i kept entering spars with no head gear nor anything that protects teeth only for me to be hit in face and feel it slightly
Good that it was light spar otherwise i'd learn being retarded comes with a price in more serious way

Crawford with an average, unimpressive performance. Every single one of his wins always had some circumstance, so I am not surprised that him going up against a prime and dog fighter made him look average.

In one.

Madrimov is no slouch, and he showed it. We also saw that Crawford's power isn't going to carry him that much further. Decent and pedestrian scrap. I was more impressed with the Pitbull loss, tbh

Awful combination work there. Right hand, right hand, right hand. Even someone as thick as Dubois can time that when he’s composed and got his legs under him.

This is why you rarely lead with a rear uppercut as well, but especially doing it while having your lead hand low. That move is a big action and very exposing. You especially don’t do it when you just got clipped by a counter and pause.

Just watched the Dubois/Joshua fight. Joshua's eternal kryptonite is a wobbled opponent, it seems. Seems to lose sight of his excellent boxing, and start throwing rights and inviting counters. It's a bit frustrating to watch, imo.

And how about the rebirth of Daniel Dubois? He has been on a tear for the past few fights. Good for him.

Excellent Boxing ? Have you noticed how when he gets tagged and slightly stunned, he just leaves his arms out there ? He has no concept of actually tying his opponent up and doesn't have the wheels to get himself out of the firing line.

There is so much more to Boxing than just being able to throw a jab or a 1-2. He never got past those basics, sadly.

I'll meet you halfway -

I'm of the opinion that he's an excellent boxer-puncher, with my above caveats. He gave Usyk two difficult fights, and that is no mean feat.

I will absolutely agree with you that he really, REALLY does not like getting punched in the face. Looking back at the Klitschko fight, I wonder if Dr. Steelhammer didn't take the wind out of his sails, and drive reality home that night. Afterwards, he never really looked the same in the ring.

One of my favorite fights - Carl Froch vs. Jermain Taylor. I'm sure that there are a better set of championship rounds out there somewhere, but I am hard pressed to find them.

Froch was just hard as nails. So many memorable moments in a career where he’s not the most technical or pretty to look at, but went for it.

Really loved when he got in against Bute after Bute ducked out of the Super Six World Boxing Classic and just pantsed him.

Boxing is closing the year out with a bang, boyos.

- O'Shaquie Foster will attempt to regain his belt in a rematch with Robinson Conceicao in Verona, NY on NOV2.
--- 'Shock' Foster lost his belt in a questionable decision a few months ago. Hopefully, for his sake, he takes it out of the judges hands this time around.
- 'Boots' Ennis is defending his IBF belt against Karen Chukhadzian, and 'Bam' Rodriguez defends the WBC belt against Pedro Guevara in Philly on NOV 9.
--- Rematch between Boots and Chukhadzian, where Boots pitched a shutout last time around. Rodriguez vs. Guevara should be fun, and one of my favorites, Raymond Ford, returns to the ring after a loss in Riyadh.

A prospect to keep an eye on - Weljon Mindoro, who will be fighting NOV 9 as well. Check out his most recent fight against Tyler Goodjohn -

Bivol vs. Beterbiev - Who ya got?
In my lifetime, I believe this to be the only true 50/50 fight that has been made. The gun to my head answer is Bivol, due to him being younger.
