Because they don’t care, as long as it makes easy money and get asspats from other boomer critics and colleagues they don’t need to improve. It’s the same thing as political humor or any Reddit meme sub in that positive criticism and feedback is the only criticism they want to hear. Compliments only, no insults because criticism is bad. Basically, there’s no need to change the formula if the formula is positively received
