ive been thinking about this recently and apperently alot of people have too bluetooth is terrible in just about everyway i remember on my old iphone i could not properly play garageband because of the latency THEY WARN ME ABOUT EVEN THOUGH THEY SOLD ME AIRPODS so they basically admit they nuttered their systems bluetooths latency is awful bluetooths sound while im not an audiophile is noticeably worse than wired it sounds compressed you have to charge it and get annoyed by BATTERY LOW the forced transition to bluetooth is one of the worst "advancements" in tech history

I buy only wired devices and hate wireless devices for their consistently shit connections and shit quality for the most part. Only thing that works is the bluetooth speaker that still has a delay when you move onto the next song, that shit drives me insane.

Nah. Exercising, working or doing anything remotely physical with wired headphones/earbuds is a nightmare, even if you run it through your shirt like a secret service agent. Sure if you're sitting at a mixing desk or playing a video game or something you should be using proper wired over-ear headphones but that's not the use case for bluetooth. Bluetooth is for mobile devices, which are always going to have subpar audio quality. The only advantage wired earbuds have in that department is the bright fuckoff white cord signifying to everyone around you that you don't want to be talked to.

The real problem is that you're an icuck running a larp daw on a fucking phone.

I like cordless headphones, the type with a RF transmitter not Bluetooth.

I like to have the option for both, as far as ease of use and modularity goes bluetooth is convenient for general use. But really impractical for every use due to limitations. You cant record using bluetooth monitors due to the delay is the biggest issue by far its got as a means of connectivity.

Also wireless earbuds being shilled by companies are just a ploy to make more expensive things that are easier to lose. Its a form of planned obsolescense that doesnt require things break after 6 months to a year of use. Without soldered in wires the main weak point is nonexistant in earbuds. This is why even mid grade and up over ear bluetooth or wired headphones are fucking pricey as shit now. Its to push people to the easily lost, irreplaceable to the set buds.

I held off on bluetooth earbuds until I found some that were under ten bucks, less expensive than the cheapest headphones I've bought. I'm unsure of the quality because I mainly just use them to listen to autistic shit like MATI while milling around other people.
