Finally pushed through Eden Treaty. Idk why but I was feeling a slump that made it hard to finish the thing.

Idk why but it was like once I started working my new job I had a lot more energy to spend on it.

I feel like I should have done volume 4 first, though? I was told that chronologically the events of volume 4 chapters 3 & 4 take place after the rabbit squad stuff.

I've also heard it's supposed to be:
>first half of Volume 3 (Make-Up Work Club stuff Chapters 1 and 2?)
>Volume 4 Chapter 1 (according to Wiki, it only unlocks after reaching a very specific part of the Chapter 3)
>rest of Volume 3
It would make sense because there is at least some time skip in the middle of Volume 3. (But confusingly I think it happens between Chapters 2 and 3, not in that specific part where Volume 4 unlocks.) I don't remember the exact details/sequence of events but Mika had enough time to "settle in" at the house arrest and spent a while eating only roll cakes (unless fan works just ramped it up to 11 for comedic effect.) I definitely remember Nagisa saying Mika shall be fed only roll cakes, which I presume could count as cruel and unusual punishment if done in a US prison. It's worth noting that Nagisa only did that after Mika's response to "let me help you get a slap on the wrist" wass being a cheeky little shit and complain about stuff like "she only has basic TV, not cable channels."

If you have (base) Mika unlocked, I recommend doing her bond story AFTER Volume 3, and whenever they have her trial in the story (I think it was in F, and honestly she does get the nepo-baby treatment from her connection to Seia/Nagisa/Sensei.)
(The Trinity students protesting Mika are still little shits piling on an easy target, they should've instead protested the systemic nepotism instead. Admittedly they may have been deliberately written as Strawman for the "Mika doesn't deserve a redemption arc" -position.)

Potentially bad news for F2Ps on global budgeting out their pulls before Fes. They're dropping a 5th non-limited(?) Decagrammaton banner, B.Yuzu. Maybe even a 6th Decagrammaton banner if they decide to announce B.Eimi later, too. Only potentially bad if you plan on going completely broke after Fes.

I don't follow (or know of) data mining accounts/channels talking about this but I've seen people who are aware of datamines blurt out that B.Yuzu is a Striker. Not sure what attack type she will be but I'm throwing Corrosive (Green) as a guess considering it's new and has no students assigned it for now.

Full on Asuka colours, only with an actual likable personality.

And then they just announced Battle Eimi.

This event should've been 2 weeks max especially considering they have all 3 new recruitment banners divided into 2 weeks (This week, Miyo and Fuyu with Satsuki as a rerun. Next week is just Ritsu and reruns of Miyu (from RABBIT Squad in case you think I said Miyo again) and Shigure). I wouldn't mind it being 3 weeks if there was more content, better shop items (Noa is one of my favorites but why specifically her Eleph in the minigame currency shop?) or a better minigame to farm daily.

I like what they're doing with Wildhunt and I do disagree with some criticisms people have said about Wildhunt in the community. I still feel like they could've added more content or have made Ritsu or any of the other NPC Wildhunt students into 2 or 1 star students to run with this event. If the devs are going to focus on Wildhunt over Highlander (which is much more popular, which surprised the devs from what I remember them saying) or Implementing Odyssey Maritime they should really load it up with a tiny bit more playable content imo.

Hell, just having more shop items would've at least somewhat justified the 3 week length of the event. I usually get everything I want from event shops 2 days before the event ends, I even managed to do that with Sheside Outside as it was a school crossover event technically (it was originally a Fest event that had S.Saori and S.Hiyori as the 100 free pull week banners and Kuroko and B.Hosh as the Fest students) so you had growth items for both Arius and Abydos as well as gifts for all of the students featured.

10/10 event, the previous Wildhunt cast was a bit too vanilla, and the new one has way better synergy between the characters that are themselves less one note. The plot was fun and tied well with the school with a great ending. Kinda hope they stick to the cartel as main characters in the future, they fit better into fantasy Italy.

Initially, I assumed they were once again going for the "one serious character serving as a foil for multiple clowns" -formula. Free Trade Cartel does end up being a more balanced trio, which is good. Not even saying the formula is a bad thing, Aoba enhanced the train twins, while Rena either did the same for Occult Studies Club or salvaged them from a complete crash-and-burn (depending on your personal opinion about the first Wildhunt event.)

If you go around looking for that formula, it's actually everywhere in BA group writing.
Abydos? Ayane needs to manage people willing to commit crime, fall for scams, or try starting an idol group.
Gehenna? Kayoko for PS68, Iroha for Pandemonium Society.
Millenium? Yuuka with GDD or Neru with rest of the C&C.
Trinity? Mika and Nagisa have a non-zero chance of killing each other if Seia isn't around.
RABBIT Squad only becomes a properly functioning unit when they put Miyako in charge (rest of the squad are all extremely competent in their specific field, but Saki is book-smart in the wrong ways, Miyu needs micromanagement and Moe has to be kept from blowing up stuff for fun.)

Note that there are groups where everyone is "goofy/unhinged" (e.g. Engineering Department, Supplemental Lessons Club) and groups where everyone is "serious/professional" (e.g. Gehenna Prefect Team, Hyakkaryouran.)

That event had to also cover the basics on the who what when where why and how for Wildhunt.

Edit: Shameful nope of you recognize the homage to Detroit Metal City in the beginning of that event.

Thankfully the devs still understand that people pretty much got wringed dry with the 4 limited students banner (Rio/Himari Battle, Aris/Kei) so Battle Yuzu and Battle Eimi is non-limited and you can get spooked by them outside of their banners. (Source: JP patch notes. Use Google TL or ChatGPT to translate)

Us Global now don't have to worry about having to save for 6 students and can focus on the limited ones, unless you want all 6 of them for whatever reason.

I liked that when shit went down the relationship flipped with Fuyu wanting to back down and Miyo wanting to go to the end.

Pretty sure the death metal was also in a previous band event. It's also kinda ubiquitous so hard to know if it was specifically a reference or not.

The death metal is from the afterschool sweets (kazusa/airi/natsu/the tsundere i forgot her name sorry) band event, where we first met Wild Hunt Tsumugi for the very first time, in which we discovers her being a metalhead despite being a plain looking, if rather odd girl.

They appeared again at the start of the first Wild Hunt event, in which they basically busking around and Sensei met Tsumugi, which leads to Sensei encountering the Wild Hunt academy for the first time.

I don't believe there's any specific references beyond the very first girl we met related to Wild Hunt is a plain jane who suddenly goes "HEAVY METAL GRUAAAAAAAAAH", which is a taste on what we ended up getting when we met her friends who decided upon meeting us were:

"Sensei, let's do a magical ritual lololol"
