Yes, but she has the lowest numbers when it comes to cost support, so she's not someone you bring only for cost support, it's just a nice bonus she has on top of being primarily a self-sustaining and cleansing tank, just like her basic skill that does Crit RES shred.
Issue I see with a lot of tanks is that they are just there to... tank. Some have repositioning and CC, but can't remember any one that serves as buffer/debuffer as well besides their common skills.

I cleared red extreme and apparently it was enough to give me Platinum!

Millennium's could've been futuristic-looking guns, instead it's pretty much just modern NATO weaponry which is a bit too generic of a theme. I got reminded of this because they're running Toki's banner currently and her G11 is a perfect example of the kind of guns Millennium students should be toting. The fact that there's not a single Millennium student with guns that are considered futuristic-looking in popular culture like the AUG, P90 or F2000 is borderline criminal.
I agree with you for the most part but I think the theme with their guns has mostly been popular sci-fi and other visually cool guns. Only reason I think that's the case is like with Eimi's Spas-12, Asuna's FAMAS, and Aris' Railgun off the top of my head.

From the ones I remember, Reisa and P.Yuuka both DEF shred with their EX, while Mine shreds both DEF and EVA with her EX. Reisa's DEF shred is tied to her Sub skill so it can stack with DEF shred from another student's EX iirc. Don't remember if there are any others that have things like that outside of Basic skills.

Finished the wildhunt story. I liked the cast for the most part. Eri is cute but there is more to her then tarot cards and being the hype girl. Her having low opinion of herself as an artist and lacking the inspiration of her craft is something i think most artist can relate to (never been an art guy so this is just me guessing). Kanoe surprised me a bit. I thought she would be a total freak because of all the fanart i saw of her but it turns out, shes rather mature (for an art student atleast). Makes sense since she is the oldest of the lot but her telling Sensei to not look at Eris old art shows how much she respects her. Tsumugi is my favorite. she just has the funniest lines and just chill. wish she (and her rock alt) were playable. Rena was the weakest link to be honest. typical kid that's to embarrassed to admit all the occult is interesting and to afraid to stand out.

Just wish the story was a bit longer but i be looking forward to more Wildhunt content in the future.

Rena has similar dynamic with rest of her clubmates as Aoba had with the train twins in the "Runaway Incident" -event. Bunch of goofy wackadoos function better when they can "bounce off" of a more serious character. Note that despite mostly being a one-note pessimistic character, Aoba was arguably still fleshed-out more than Rena.
When I first saw Rena, I had a feeling she reminded me of something, and I later realized her appearance is quite similar to Yoshimi. Based on few pieces of fan art, I'm not the only one who's made the connection.

It was alright but really suffered from having a tiny cast, basically the four amigos with one character that mainly there for a a future, one character that only appears for one scene and a council president that may not exist. Compare it with Red Winter that has its first chapter with 4 different factions. Still the four are alright, and Wildhunt itself is a good change of scenery.

I have just skipped the story and will read it friday afternoon but is there any reason that Roogie is one of the specialized students in the event? Is she even mentioned in the event story or is it just because her and Moogie have similar names and similar propensity for death metal screams?

That's a shame, I suspected it to be this way given that both Utaha variants are in there and Utaha is a queen when it comes to being a specialized student in events she isn't even mentioned in. The Roogie and the Moogie meeting would've been pure kino tho.

A friend of mine showed me a post going over the reasons for the specialized students in the events since the say-Bing event kinda foreshadowed the culprits of the Mecha-gator being due to the Engineering dept. Remembering what the reasons were off the top of my head:
  • Yuuka is here because she has probably the earliest mention of Wildhunt Arts Academy in game with her 2nd bond story with the painting.
  • Utaha mentions Wildhunt in her Cheer uniform's 4th bond story. Specifically, she says to Sensei while putting on an all time classic Enka performance " If I had gone to Wildhunt Academy instead of Millennium School, maybe I'd be a maestro instead of a meister." which gets the reaction you expect.
  • Tsurugi and Ichika are specialized students because in Serenade Promenade they performed "Paralyzed Princess" (copyright-free Sleeping Beauty). Tsurugi, playing the Princess and Ichika standing in for the Prince. Tsurugi had broken character and spooked the nearly the whole crowd save for the Wildhunt students who found the performance to be some sort of "modern expressionist take" and gave the them a standing ovation for what they thought was a wonderful performance.
  • Maki is here not only for her Graffiti skills but because in the Millennium Pajama Party event Yuuka straight up asks her something along the lines of "why didn't you enroll at Wildhunt instead?" Which gets a handwaved "it's a long story..." from Maki.
  • The Afterschool Sweets club students (Kazusa, Yoshimi, Natsu and Airi) are here because of their obvious interaction with Tsumugi in -ive aLive.

Damn, they really were stretching it with some of these, but it's tough when the only real meaningful connection your new school has is with the ASS girls, as the event is pretty much a continuation of -ive Alive!, and with Maki due to her being artistic. It'd be easier to make specialized students for the naval school that's only been mentioned in Bunny Chaser on Board as the Odyssey Maritime School owned the casino boat, so they'd already have the entirety of C&C and Seminar + their alts for specialized students.

Lol I changed my attack formation in PvP earlier today to Kuroko, Haruka, Hoshino, and Shun (with S.Shiroko and S.Ayane in special) and I won 5/5 matches climbing all the way from like 150th to 50th.

Only Kuroko and Haruka have their UEs, Kuroko UE40 and Haruka UE30. Rest are 3 and 4 stars, I'd imagine it gets even more effective if you have S.Shiroko at UE40. Hearing reports from my friends as well that this attack formation has gotten them at least 4/5 wins.

Kuroko is basically cheating due to her 20 seconds invincibility ability, unless your tank is at top shape she is going to win.

Edit: Finally level 90. Really did take half a year.
