I pulled again on S.Seia's banner with the free pulls and got her again. This is the third time she's shown up on pulls... Not that I'm complaining!

Working my way through my Momotalks again. Here's my thoughts:

First of all, I wish i didn't have to refresh the page to see the next part. Jumping in and out of menus is kind of annoying, if a minor issue.

Saya (Casual): Again, I don't know her. She seems like a mad scientist with a pet mouse? I liked her bond story about her trying to relax on her days off and dealing with the fact that because she drugs people nobody wants to hang out with her. Shocker. Although I like how she got a taste of her own medicine (literally) of people slipping in spicy sauce into her food on her.

Nonomi: I like her. She's a super rich girl who wants to help pay off the school's debt, but Hoshino won't let her, so she buys shit to try and help. Very kind, very thoughtful, very Onee-San or even motherly vibes towards her underclassmen, in a way similar to Shiroko (Since Shiroko looks out for her classmates - For example how she didn't want Serika's cat ears to get cold so she made little divots for her ears in her robber mask), but different. Despite being a self-described weeb i only recently learned about ear cleaning in japan and how significant it is, so her L2d was a surprise to me.

Shiroko: I really like her. Her athleticism is fun, and I feel bad how nobody wants to go on super long jogging sessions or long bike rides or swimmin- You know, let me rephrase. Nobody wants to do a triathalon with her. She should meet Sumire, I think they'd get along. I have a feeling that her bicycling storyline of her wanting to do a 400 kilometer bike trip is going to play into her Cycling variant. I also like her insistence on how Abydos needs to take the fight to Kaiser by robbing the shit out of their banks.*

Shiroko (Cycling): This seems to take place during summer vacation, since she apparently has a few months to ride her bycicle around Kivotos (A bit more than the 400 kilometer bike ride she mentioned in her base Momotalk... 4000 kilometers this time, apparently. JFC). I do like her Student Rep dialogue where she offers to ride in front to cut the wind for you. Very cute.

I hate to say it but I think that's all I have the 'energy' for today. Weirdly tiring to read all these momotalks back to back and I got stuff to do you know?


* Speaking of Kaiser, I was thinking... With Aris (Arisu? Alice?) being a robot, what are the chances that some of her art gets rejected by Wild Hunt because it's AI generated? Would she transfer to Gehenna and seek a final solution to the Kaiser Question? What did Nexon mean by making these bankers have a giant hook nose, wear all black, and the big old jew hat? Is Kaiser ran by a Ultra-Orthodox jew? Is John Nexon /ourguy/?

S.Seia blessed me very early into the banner. On the path to likely having to spark S.Hasumi. I've had three 3* duplicates (Reisa, Iroha, Yukari) which was unusual, but perhaps something to be expected as the ratio of not-yet-recruited Students gradually decreases. On the other hand, I was spooked by Nagusa and Atsuko.

Nagusa is unfortunately pretty sad as she's a single target purple DPS that shares her terrain affinity with s.mika, it was over before it even started

Atsuko is excellent though, dodge tank that's also an AoE healer so she's great for PvP(when accuracy specialists like Iori or blue DPS monsters like Kuroko aren't around so this PvP season is terrible for her) but her healing pulse makes her a great choice for content in which your whole team is bound to take some chip damage like kurokage, set or tiphy. All around stellar student and a mainstay of my lineups(also she sings happy birthday on your birthday and has a top tier l2d so she's meta in the lobby too)

And here we go, another post about the bond stories. Continuing where we left off...

Shiroko (Swimsuit): I was surprised at how quickly you get her L2D. That's about as quick as Yuuka and Hanako. As usual, Shiroko is a sweetheart who's intense athleticism and boundless energy has Sensei struggling to keep up. Mentions the Abydos swimsuit event pretty heavily, but I haven't played that yet. Even so, she's great.

Hasumi: SHE'S FAT. Girl eats about as much as Akari, but unlike Izumi or Hiyori the weight all seems to go to her chest. Everyone jokes about Yuuka weighing 100kg but I think we all know who REALLY weighs 100kg.

Mutsuki: The dictionary definition of a Mesugaki. That's all I can say. S-Tier Mesugaki, best I've seen in a long time. One major issue, though: Her L2D broke on me though. Got a line of [wa:NAN} and I had to crash the Momotalk. :/

Izsuna: Aruji-dono! Nin-Nin! Sasasa! I guess we finally know what the fox says, eh? This girl clearly takes the Naruto view of ninjas, and she's gloriously adorable. I've seen some of the videos of her where she's sneaking around going "Sasasa!" and "Nin-nin!" and being shocked that Sensei notices her. She's very adorable.

I don't know who said that lie, but that is NOT true

dress Kayoko's gimmick is mainly made for Binah (because all other yellow armor bosses don't have that much defense to make her defense penetration from her EX relevant), and even then, she is just subpar (or even worse) than Kazusa in Urban Binah

uniform Neru mogs then both, there is not counterargument about that. I would've said you were kinda right if your said dress Kayoko outperformed Mika in Urban terrain, which is true but only for Urban Binah (as I mentioned, not other yellow armor boss that is not from grand Assault has a lot of defense, and from those, the only raids that are in Urban terain are Binah and Hod) and... probably Hod?, but no one seemed to use her in Hod because of her gimmick, even if she can do guaranteed critical damage

A funny thing is that, there is also a boss where she could've been useful for, but because of her gimmick, she becomes poopy. Urban Yellow Hieronymus! The issue with it is that her gimmick for her guaranteed critical on EX requires her to not take any type of damage (even with shields) for 10 seconds... BUT Hieronymus always has an unavoidable damage over time to all students (and the relic) every 10 seconds, making her unable to trigger her gimmick at all. That is the principal reason why in both Urban Yellow Hieronymus Grand Assaults, Kazusa and uniform Neru were used for it, but never dress Kayoko even though her kit would fit perfectly for such Binah-like boss

So, I wouldn't recommend building her if the user already has uniform Neru. Building DPSes in this game is way too expensive, so you have to be pretety mindful unless it is a whale that can eligma any favorite student. Next time do not spread misinformation :medallion:

Atsuko: Mentioned earlier in the thread, it's because she is my favorite Arius student.
Iroha: Mainly for PvP metaniggery but she's a lazy bum just like I am so I like her. Plus, she comes in a fucking Tiger tank, my personal second favorite tank after the T-34.
Reisa: I already have Koyuki, I must have the gremlin duo.

Iroha isn't the PvP mainstay she used to be, it's about Hibiki and Nagisa these days. and obviously S.Shirok

Huh, I've rarely seen Hibiki as a special in the top spots. It's always S.Shirok and the second one is either Iroha, Nagi (mostly Nagi, as in half of them) or Minori. Hell, I've seen more people use Utaha this season as the second special.

for me it's non stop S.shiroko with either Nagi or the dog around top 100
 
PvP is kind of free this season. I've been able to stay consistently top 100 with a team that only has 1 (one) character with their weapon and it's S.Hanako

Got a lot of ligma from the free pulls though so I gave Kuroko her weapon and leveled it up to 40 and already my team is surviving a lot better in PvP. Goal is to stay in top 50 now so when I go collect my PvP coins I'm not in 150th or something.

Also little known fact but if you return to the game in the middle of the PvP season (and you had no record in the previous season) you get placed into a completely empty bracket. One of my friends was wondering why he was able to reach rank 1 with a level 87 account and we figured that out by asking around.

You know who's fucking GAS this PvP season? Fucking haruka, she's bulky enough to wall kuroko reliably and since she's a red armour defense tank she's not gonna get 1 shot by Iori either, I've been running her non stop and even though she's basic she's a lot more reliable than someone like marina or reisa imo

Yeah, easy to get students can be quite powerful in a bunch of content. For example, never underestimate the feared Junko-only comp.
