Guess what. Blood Bowl is back bitches! As in the actual tabletop game. These images were leaked from a reviewer copy of the board game sent out. Supposedly it's either the Cyanide version of the CRP ruleset or a slight variation on them. This is kicking off the return of many of the GW specalist games.

Contents as usual include a human and orc team, the dice needed, board, cards, and so on.
I picked up a practically-new copy of the 3rd Editon board game at a yard sale awhile back. Haven't had the time to really try and play it, but I might just end up flipping it on BGG or something.
I'm excited about BB3. I like the idea of the new Prayers to Nuffle table and the new teams and fields, but I think that the new levelup system takes something away from the chance based aspect of building a team. Not that it matters, because I'm almost certainly sticking to BB2 until 3 comes down significantly in price. For the longest time I never realized that Blood Bowl was a Warhammer fantasy spinoff game until 2 years ago
There's a Blood Bowl 3 coming out this year if anyone cares that's going to be based around the latest version of the Tabletop
In a world where TWO 1:1 adaptations of Blood Bowl into video games were a success it still baffles me GW won't okay a 1:1 Warhammer adaptation. Just imagine the pure Jewery they could get up to with MTX with such a game.I'm excited about BB3. You should only buy it when the GOTY edition arrives, and not a day sooner.I've looked longingly at this series since Steam was a fledgling service but never booted it up. I remember being offput by the DLC team monetization in the '00s, but I relaxed my asshole on that stance for other games since then. I should bite the bullet and actually play it sometime.
