For those of you outside the US, there's a pause button in the middle of our holiday season in which the spirit of peace on earth and goodwill towards all mankind gets shat on and replaced with unparalleled levels of savagery from the average person in pursuit of discounted high end luxury items. People are basically guaranteed to die each year over it.

Here's a sample of what's going to happen tomorrow:

And here's a sample of the kind of smug reaction SJWs have to it who fail to see the amount of privileged involved in fighting to the death over a flat screen TV and not say, I dunno, clean drinking water:

Black Friday brawl videos are how rich people shame the poor
It’s hard to avoid the message of those ads. We’ve been bombarded with them for weeks now, from corporations eager to entice shoppers with so-called “door-buster” deals. And then, once the shopping public falls for them, a privileged segment of the population sits back and dehumanizes them for its collective amusement. Look at these hilarious poor people, struggling to take advantage of a deal on something they might not otherwise be able to afford on items that we take for granted, we joke on Twitter. The message is the same: this is shameful, materialistic behavior. And by pointing it out, we differentiate ourselves, reaffirm our class status as being above the fray of the lowly and desperate.
lol of course the poor have no agency and aren't shaming themselves by behaving like fucking animals.

Let the games begin.

If you're beating the shit out of someone to save $20 off a luxury item (which by definition is something you could easily live without) and could buy the exact same item for the same price by sitting on your ass and shopping online, you deserve to be shamed. I will mock and laugh at you mightily.

Isnt it common knowledge that Black Friday "deals" are all bullshit anyway? Like 90% of the time it's an outdated, made-obsolete item, or the item had been priced at like 150% of the MSRP for a few months leading up to the "holiday season", then reduced to just 100% of the MSRP so that they can say it's a "deal".

I think JC Penny's was in actual legal trouble over practices like that, and I know Kohl's does it too.

The only time I would go Black Friday shopping is only to see people beat the shit out of eachother. It's fun.

Alas, Black Friday has made its way to Britain as well and the Viz strip "Whoops Aisle Apocalypse" comes to life in every department store in the country.

I can't understand it. It's not like it actually means anything. It's a day like any other.

Wait a second, so people are stealing from kids, beating women and punching men for 20$ bucks in discount?, that means I can start my own fight club with like 200 buckaroos, record everything and win double the money just from the YouTube views alone.
Original idea donut steel.

But seriously, I find pretty ridiculous how people physically fight other people over a silly discount and over all stupid shit. SJWs being salty and going all "don't make fun of the poor" isn't as funny as the black friday videos but probably just as silly.

You know who don't care if an item is discounted or not? Tugboaters like Chris and Phil.

And you know who really are the underpriviledged? The salestaff stationed at the warzone.

The Walmart closest by isn't even prepared for black Friday so all the sheep are fucking confused as to where the phones are.

Good. I wished employees a good holiday season after I stuffed my pasty face. Didn't spend a single dime today, just spread cheers.

You would think so, and yet the 5pm news was showing all the suckers standing outside the midtown Best Buy desperately waiting for 6. It's a little after now so I guess there's a fresh round of fights going down all around town.

Because it's totally not like middle class people don't fall for the Black Friday bullshit. Nope, you need to show your bank statement before going through the door apparently.

Going out to shop on Black Friday is suicide, especially if it's a Walmart/Kmart/Target type of store. At my local Walmart I'd always see people putting up tents just to be there super early. It's madness.
Here's another BF comp.

When I worked retail I was happy to work the night shift (like 10pm to 3am) the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and the same on Friday (to set up for Saturday) to get out dealing with the customers the day of Black Friday. Fortunately it was a place that didn't open on Thursday, and closed on Friday, unlike a lot of places now.

And to think only the day before most of these people were visiting family, having a good time, saying prayers and being grateful for their lives.

What's the story behind 4:29 of the video, with idiots walking up a down-going escalator?

From the way they were running up it, they may have thought it was some sort of short cut to wherever they were going.

This shit hasn't even been necessary for the last 2 years or so. I just bought an LED tv on a Black Friday sale from my phone. Forget fighting other people for sales, I didn't even have to put shoes on.

Britfag retail worker here, we didn't even do Black Friday at my store last year after no-one turned up the year before. Seems people had learned about FUCKING CYBER MONDAY.

I'm tired of trying to follow the mental gymnastics these SJWs go through to invent oppresshuns.

I just want to watch two retards try to murder each other over a 32" Hisense TV.

Most likely because companies like Amazon have been advertising it the last few years.

I'm guessing the reason it hasn't really picked up here in the UK is because the deals are so poor.

That and the British don't see the appeal of getting their heads kicked in for an Xbox.
