A buddy of mine is from one of the better Caribbean islands and they refer to other islanders as nuts in bushes. Probably similar to "monkey in the jungle" but the islands are so small the jungles are more like bushes.

In the realm of slurs it doesn't have much going for it but any time someone finds a reason to break out injun brings a smile to my face
