This is a controversial take, but since the real Batman's suit designs are all so bland and samey, I've actually come around a lot on Tetsuya Nomura (Final Fantasy artist)'s redesign for this figure. Who CARES that it's so busy, its also edgy and fun.

That's not Batman, that's a Tokusatsu villain.

Jinpachi's Human Form in Tag 2 isn't THAT much of a redesign, I suppose, but I preferred seeing this version of him in the game, and, as for Demon Forms, to me, the Dark Resurrection 'Burning Volcanic Man of Hate' Form, is an improvement over the original Tekken 5 one.

I really like the redesign of the protagonist of the NES game, "Startropics"; Mike Jones, from Startropics to Zoda's Revenge: Startropics II.

He's goes from having this rather plain blue tee-shirt...

To having this cool black tee-shirt, denim jacket combo:

Really gives his design the oomph it needed.

A nerdy one here: Gamera got a huge glow-up in the 1990s.

The original isn't bad but it got worse as the series went on...

Not to mention the moviea went from nuclear horror to kids crap. Cue the 1995 reboot and we get something fun:

And then, later in the same trilogy, we get an amazing design:

This cool design was only used briefly but man, it's neat.

Godzilla has a similar thing going on, although the modern american stuff kinda ruined it.

So, this post does not like the release box art of Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour on GameCube.



I like it. It makes it look different from the original Mario Golf on the N64.
