Of course that's how normal people think because it's true. But these idiots have been sheltered their entire lives and have never had to face that nasty thing called "reality". And so they live in this bubble of ignorance.
For example on Youtube he has a bunch of asspatters who go around saying how great everything he does is. Half or more of those people probably also have assburgers so the cycle perpetuates itself. He winds up thinking that everything is great and that he's a good singer, voice and regular actor when in reality he's complete shit. He can't hold a tune to save his life, his voice overs are extremely amateurish and his Han Solo "audition" is Jr. High drama club level bad.
And any bad comment is deleted making anybody that commented a "hater".
So how will he grow or learn as an artist? He won't. And for that we can all be grateful.

He actually has just enough self awareness to realize he's really bad at drawing, but obviously not enough to realize how awful shit like "pony x Monsters Inc. character" or "all these characters as the Avengers" is. So instead of people asspatting him for drawing cool pictures they just tell him how much they like his "ideas". Which feeds back into the stupid episode/movie/holiday special rewrite shit he loves. He can't even figure out self-insert fanfiction.

Sorry for the double post, but I want to bump this with some of the latest art Ben has been requesting. Let's start with something extremely gay:
He's clearly fapping so hard to this, but they're just cartoon naked guize, so it's totally okay.
Shower fetish confirmed. Also note that the right arm is significantly shorter than the left.
Ben shelled out more for this one, probably because Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is his favorite live action movie (at least I assume it is). There is something distinctly off about their faces, though.
