I don't understand how people can support project veritas secretly recording people to expose them but then get all upset when a Steven Crowder records Jeremy.
I'll give a few reasons

1) His recording was ridiculously edited while Project Veritas usually provides a little more context before getting to the juicy bits.

2) What exactly did the recording expose? In other words, where was the gotcha? Maybe I have to listen to it again, but I didn't hear anything said that really bolstered Crowder's case.

3) Crowder is outing people he says he was friends with but is now effectively treating as enemies. I certainly know Project Veritas certainly isn't forthcoming to those that they desire to expose (obviously if they were they would get nowhere), but there should be a fine line when it comes to people claiming to be your friend and then those people decide to release parts of a conversation you had with them all the while convincing other people they shouldn't deal with you in the future. That's pretty dang deceitful and for what exactly?

Meh, why couldn't Crowder have just said Thanks, But No Thanks, kept a good personal and business relationship with DW and went on his own to build his own media empire, which is clearly what he wants.
I can't argue with that at all. I'm not even trying to say Crowder handled this well at all. Not saying Benji is completely in the wrong either.
Both of them are fucking scumbags in this interaction. None of these daily wire people shitting on crowder are wrong either, outside of the nigger running her prostitute mouth. She comes across terrible to me. But i never liked her at all, never trusted her, at all. She's just outed herself as salty as fuck about something that has nothing to do with her. Overly invested in this shit for some reason, and to me, it's blidn jealousy she didn't pull this off.

It is the principle of it. His "friend" offered him an insanely terrible contract. Which exposed an issue in the industry. So he is airing the dirty laundry. If you find out your friend is actually a terrible person you don't just ignore it. DW deserves to be roasted because of this. People should not deal with DW considering those terms. Those terms are actually insane.

This was posted earlier but it is worth the watch. Don't skip around. The deal is insultingly bad.

And my suspicions of Dice also being controlled opposition continues to grow 🤨
How so? I am a little surprised how he is still allowed on youtube.....

Much as I don't like Tucker Carlson, I'm a bit interested in seeing this. Could you tell me when this was?
Here is the discussion video from the end of 2018, it's always my go to to show Trumpism vs. Neocons and the growing control of the party:

Even the forced ad reads are here before they were such an obvious joke. Shapiro tries to play gotcha with Tucker on some stuff but Tucker easily makes the point your opinions don't have to be mutually exclusive and Shapiro's brain kind of breaks down at that realization. His points about classism and the resentment that builds up to the point Trump gets elected, which Shapiro continues to just go muh freek market, really shows this stupid treatment of politics as a religion. Tucker calls out the lack of really preserving the family as a conservative failure and that's why people get enticed by socialism, especially when those conservatives then just push globohomo outsourcing and flawed automation.

Carlson says he's willing to block automation because the social cost is too destructive especially in the trucking industry, and this is where Shapiro just crumbles and the fool says he would oppose the trust busting that Teddy Rosevelt did.

Was there any negotiations before this phone call? Because it's kind of standard practice in entertainment to make a shitty first offer to see what comes back. If the secret recording was his version of "negotiation" then he's done.

There was negotiations before, and the recording was clearly done as a gotcha.

Everyone involved in this shit show has a platform because they're allowed to and it makes no difference who is more or less of a scumbag in this particular situation. They may not be controlled opposition but they are permitted opposition for sure. The fact that they have bank accounts and 50 million contracts well Null has to build his own internet with patch sales and fake internet bucks is proof none of this matters.

Controlled opposition this, controlled opposition that.
The working white class of America do not get 50 million dollar contracts or have the ability to offer such.
These people do not care about you. They don't even do their own grocery shopping.
Tucker, Crowder, Shapiro... all faggots.

If Null had 50 million dollars, we'd have a Kiwi moon base by now.

Well, Crowder did get something. No professional will trust him now. Add the "I only recorded three people" is the icing on the cake. Add the fact that if he secretly recorded a phone conversation where the other party was in a two-party state, he's got lots of problems.

Reading the first few pages of this drama, I really don't see the reason Crowder aired it out besides drama baiting. Even if it wasn't an initial offer (which from what I understood it is, which makes it worse since its entire point was seeing what parts will be agreed for and what are red lines), he just fucked over his entire grifting operations.
Pretty much every business will think twice before interacting with him because he'll be labeled as a trouble maker who leaks shit and records phone calls for gotchas.

It's the same case with the Bayonetta VA that nuked her career.

As for Shapiro, I doubt how much he was involved with the contract. DW is an aspiring entertainment company and this shit is written by lawyers after a marketing analyst crunches the numbers. Once you are in charges of hundreds of workers it's unprofessional to just make bad contracts because "they're your friend".

DW is a company with investors and a board. The founders and executives all answer to the board. The board has power to force things if they lose confidence in the company's leadership.
Shapiro and Jeremy have the power to give Crowder the deal he wants, however if they did, and it ends up being a bad move (ie getting their main channel taken down), the board has the power and reason to severely limit the company leadership's power. I don't think they would force any of the founders to quit since their brand is a big part of the value of the company, but they can force their own babysitter to be hired in an executive role and make sure leadership is not doing anything that the board doesn't approve of. That is exactly what happened at one of my previous companies when the CEO forced through the acquisition of his friend's company and that decision eventually ended up fucking everything up.

I think by this point Shapiro can be divorced with drama around DW, whether you believe it's grifting or right-lite he is just a figurehead for a media network.

In general you can say the current situation is similar to the drama around America First where everything is always personal rather than, god forbid, people acting like adults and are being told straight to their face what they are believed to be worth.
