I think that is what people are forgetting. I have no fucking clue about the Heard trial. I just know I was not interested because both seemed like douchebags and I am not invested in celebs. However, it seemed to have cooked some people's brain in that they can't realize they aren't looking at a video in isolation even when presented with evidence. It seems Depp was a weird dickhole, but not abusive to his co-workers and friends. I think most people didn't even notice there were edits.

First time I watched the video I didn't even notice, I just figured it was a glitchy video due to a shitty video recording device. Was only when I noticed the timestamps that it seemed like something malicious was done. Even ignoring what happened before and after the video, there's at least a minute removed from the argument.


Will be funky if the wife leaking the edited video results in Crowder getting to put out any dirt he wants about what was going on.

The edits were kinda shady,but it really didn't look like they interrupted the flow of their argument much, if at all. Maybe it was just lulls in the conversation, or cutting out private information? Either way, I don't think this will bode well for Crowder, at least with the conservative crowd that he courts. Most of these people, despite the beliefs of the left, don't tolerate treating their wives/GFs as a broodmare or property to be controlled. I was iffy on him before, but this, on top of the relevations of former employees and friends, just firmly pushes him into "narcissistic controlling asshole" category. These two have outspokenly hated Crowder for years; I don't think they'd go through the trouble of making a fake video and pretending to react to it, but if all of this is just made up, these are exactly the people you'd want to send it to. His recent threats to release her medical records are a major red flag. Similar to this happened to a woman I worked with whose ex husband was calling her mentally ill in court filings and subpoenad her doctor who then gave evidence she’d been diagnosed with depression and anxiety because of how badly he was treating her and the kids. I was meant to have to give evidence as her supervisor at work that she wasn’t a nutcase, but after her doctor spoke in court, the judge shut it all down and apparently the abuser was told to get fucked.

Domestic abuse really does seem like sadism. She can’t take the car for a couple of hours just in case you randomly feel like visiting your friends or parents in that time? She has to be in contact with chemicals that she’s scared will hurt the babies, so she should just put gloves on and do it while you sit on your ass smoking right next to her heavily pregnant self? Telling her you don’t love her?
