The game has unfortunately become almost unplayable because of the crashes. I'm getting a GPU drivers crash almost every single match now despite having updated them to a preview for BF6.

Unpopular opinion but i think Firestorm is the worst map in the game.
Also single player is garbage. Somehow worse than BF4.
I actually had a slight bit of hope for it, but it plays like a campaign from 2007 with the amount of turret sections and linear "Follow the dude" missions. I don't know why it's so hard to just do a big map with vehicles and objectives to complete like a sandbox. Something like Mercenaries. Play into the strengths of BF instead of these half assed linear COD campaigns. I know nobody plays BF for single player, but it could be good if they played into the game's strengths and used the tools they already have.

So I've found that the best way to kill tanks with pressure mines is to follow a vehicle they're fighting and when it dies, put the mines behind its corpse. For whatever reason, the people driving the tank decide that driving forward and over the tank they just killed is a brilliant idea, and it gets them killed.

I ended up killing an entire Squad doing it, ruining their kill streak. They had been pushing people off one of the flags on conquest and preventing us from moving forward. I killed them, completely fucking the enemy's vehicle game, since another less competent squad ended up stealing the tank again when it spawned.

Conquest on Manhatten Bridge is exactly what I was hoping for with a BF map set in NYC. Fighting under a massive bridge, fighting on rooftops with one point being on a tall building, watching choppers weave through alleys. It's great. Only thing missing is fighting in the Hudson, but the whole game is missing naval combat atm.

EA really thought letting people on these buildings and NOT letting us fully destroy them was a great Idea. These two camped by A the entire game and there was nothing we could do about it.

I know modern developers are terrible, so this is nothing new, but the industry really needs to have a discussion on what happened to UI's over the last 20 years. This game is an absolute mess when it comes to navigation and filling your screen with useless information.

Battlefield is officially back, it's pretty heartwarming to see ngl.

Playing this was the most fun I had playing a videogame in a long time, it feels like we ended a journey through the dark times with the disasterous launch of Battlefield 2042, and others that tried to replicate it and failed like Battlebit and Delta Force.

The fact that a triple a fps from EA in 2025 is sitting at a mostly positive in the high 70's on Steam speaks to how good the game (multiplayer) is. Knowing that half of those negative reviews are probably complaining about shit like secure boot and their 1060/i5-6600 not being able to run the game at 4k at 120 fps. I'm absolutely loving this game and I agree with @Powerhouse of the Cell, this is the most fun I've had playing a game in a loooong time. At the very least in the triple a space, there have been plenty of smaller games I've enjoyed, but this brings back that joy I had when a new cod or battlefield would release back in the late 00's/early 10's. Hopefully activision will take note but I won't hold my breath.
