Tranny Defense League is going insane

"Nah bro, Ronnie Coleman is totally natty; Us experts in the 'bodybuilding community' all agree and to say otherwise makes you look kinda pathetic dude." My condolences to the kovaaktroons and their guntguarding fans, people simply aren't as gullible as they used to be about this. Additionally, even if this fag was legit, I simply don't want people like him in my matches. Go be a Ritalin-addled spastic in COD.

Also,

after shaking off some rust I did OK, still far from my prime in BF4. It was smart to make sniper headshots deny respawns, gives the role more benefit to the team. Nonetheless, most snipers I see are still dead weight, getting 0 kills while hiding in spawn (I try to play alongside the team, especially on offense).

Anyone else kinda disappointed?

TTK is COD-tier. (Hey I like cod, I just want BF to be battlefield.)

Small, COD like maps. Tempo is way too hectic.

Helicopters and planes are just as bad as in 2042.

Tanks are either invincible or blow up if someone looks at it, depending on if you have an engineer repairing you constantly.

Movement just feels… Weird. Reminds me too much of BF2042.

I miss BF1 man… Even BFV was pretty decent.

I've tried breakthrough twice and ended up on the attacking side on Liberation Peak both times. Holy shit, attacking on that map sucks balls. One tank for the team, no aerial vehicles, having to run across an open field covered by snipers or a tiny mountain passage covered by supports.

I don't get them. Maybe I've been playing too much Rush forcing myself to like it. Their design goes against my intuition for where an access point or path would be, there's paths that go nowhere and would be perfect to make up for some pretty awful chokepoints (and there's so many of those!). Then there's places where an area has entrances all over and it's impossible to "clear" it or get a feeling for the flow, I can't get a mental image of where the battle frontline is. I didn't have this impression in BF1, where map design was exceptional for me. I'd love to know what was being prioritized during development, and I'm curious if there's going to be meaningful changes to them from now to release.

Doubt I’ll get it on release. Maybe on sale.

Yeah, way too few vehicles. BF was always the most fun when you had (at least) a handful of tanks between the different teams, aerial battles going on in the sky, some artillery etc.

Right now it’s like COD with an occasional tank.

Yes. Maps are not just small but also poorly made. You go into a building, up a stairway, down a corridor. Or hey! It’s blocked off!

You get to an objective, everyone is bunkered down behind cover ready to give them hell if they try to take it. Whoops! Some rando shows up and guns everyone down from the second floor, since that is a thing now. And is unintentionally accessed so it’s hard to block off.

The maps in both BF1 and even BFV were *Chefs kiss*. Even maps like Rotterdam that included a vertical element weren’t a mess like Cairo.

Have only played conquest but Liberation Peak has been the worst map In my opinion, still better than most 2042 maps, the sniper fields are insufferable it reminds me of Monte Grappa in BF1 where there was just far to many spots for recons to camp

The rush mode in the bf6 doesn't feel really thought out and heavily skewed in favor of the defenders side. Like it really feels like a lot of these attack and defend game modes screw attackers heavily. like that open air desert map only giving attackers one tank in open land. I've done good on that map, but that's only after getting the rest of my team to finally use smokes and smoke the shit out of the first point so snipers couldn't pick us off.

I have mostly positive feelings with playing the game so far, but I really do wish for bigger maps and more support for attackers with extra vehicles or avenues on some maps that aren't just one lane open field with no strategy.

fair but saying "it's a cod game and not a battlefield game" when Battlefield 4 is well loved by a lot of people is wild to me. Hell BF 3 had a pretty fast TTK from what i've watched of it.
Well, I’m able to play the beta THIS weekend. I cannot wait to dip my feet into what’s happening.

As has been referred to in this thread, they said they intentionally chose smaller maps for the beta to showcase "high-octane Battlefield". My guess is it's 3 small, 3 medium, 3 large for release, but as usual, remaining skeptical that EA are doing this correctly.

I've seen the attackers win plenty of times on rush, it's breakthrough which I've found to generally be quite defender favored. Speaking of which, Empire State is dogshit for breakthrough, very heavily defender sided. They need to move the flag and/or give the attackers a chopper or something to push through. On Conquest it was good.

Anyone else having any issues in this beta phase? During the first weekend my game ran with no issues aside from a short visual bug. This morning, I crashed several times in a row within the first few minutes of the matches. Threw an error I didn't quite catch the first time and no errors the other 2 times. I read that going into the firing range before starting your game "fixes" it, which seems to either true or a really strong placebo. Still get an occasional crash. Whatever they changed between this week and the last, they fucked up.
Other than some visual glitches it's been smooth sailing for me. I'll give the generic advice of updating you gpu drivers, chipset drivers, bios etc. sometimes (:optimistic:) it fixes things.
