Bf6 dev explains why the Portal is effectively the server browser for this game

Apparently they’re nerfing the shotgun. Hopefully it’s just a range or rate of fire nerf and it still one shots (and is accurate hip fired) because otherwise, what’s the point?

I don’t envy the developers, just browsing Xitter for a few minutes and you run into wholly contradictory suggested changes including some of the most retarded dogshit you’ve ever read. Also, COD transplants guntguarding troons using obvious cheats
That troon is already banned on Twitch.

This video popped up on YouTube a few hours ago; thoughts? I'm not much of a BF player, admittedly; tried getting into both BF1 and Hardline a while back, sadly couldn't.

Saying it humiliates warzone is kind of stupid since BF6 isn't a battle royale game. It has the mode, supposedly if leaks are to be believed, but we have no idea how well it'll do.

I thought the grenade launcher was extremely underwhelming compared to older titles.
It'd be fine if it a slightly higher blast radius and more than 2 rounds. The 320 in 4 gave you 4 total every life. I guess the idea with assault is to promote teamwork with support being almost required due to low starting ammo. They're too worried, rightfully, about assault being too powerful.

Judging from the thumbnail alone, he's correct. The usual insufferable CoD niggers can't stop themselves from screeching about how the game should be more like CoD. That literal nigger Faze Swagg, who's pinned tweet is photos of him doing your typical nigger showboating in front of a G-Wagon, spent some time talking shit on twitter to battlefield fans telling him to fuck off. You can look up some of the """movement""" faggots abusing the almost certainly literally broken momentum that allows them to maintain speed over vaults and jumps. Anyone who wants that in Battlefield should swallow glass. People are excited because this 6 is more of a return to "classic" battlefield and I desperately hope Dice is smart enough to ignore these subhumans.

The thermite grenade launcher was a lot better than the normal one. Being lit on fire in this game is brutal. You can't sprint or aim down sights

Haven't watched it yet, but it doesn't take much to dethrone Warzone. Hell, I consider Blackout to be superior and it predates Warzone. Battlefield 6 doesn't have to try too hard to one-up it.

I didn't play much Assault, only enough to hit the 50 kills within 10 meters, so I didn't try it out. I'm used to using the 320 offensively from my time with 4 so I did fairly well with the normal explosive rather than the thermobaric but I'll try it out this weekend when the next open beta period starts. That sounds extremely funny if the blast radius is large enough to catch multiple dudes out with it.

Anyone with Faze in their name is a fucking queer. The esports scene just ruined FPS games.

Played a few hours over the weekend. The shooting really does feel like Titanfall 2 whoever said that is bang on, and TF|2 felt amazing so A+ there. Wish you could mount your weapon/bipod without aiming first, and you shouldn't be allowed to shoot while midair just like how you already can't shoot while dolphin diving, but that's really it. Too bad about shotguns getting nerfed but I guess if you're going to let people jump around corners and shoot them midair you don't really have a choice.

"Open weapons" is a total disaster (some retarded manager must still really believe in 2042), especially on that mountain map which seems like a map made specifically for armor and sniper duels and nothing else. The middle east city map was fantastic, of course it is basically just DOTA's map rotated 45 degrees or any given 3-lane CS map scaled up so hard to mess up. The euro city map wasn't bad (not great either) but only being able to capture the structures on their ground floor felt really dumb and led to people just hiding upstairs to recap as soon as everyone was on the next point.

Still don't understand their thought process behind the destruction, you can destroy a stack of pelican cases box-by-box by prone diving into it over and over, one RPG shot by one single player will collapse the entire fascia of multiple structures, but nothing can destroy a free standing brick wall? The Finals has far more coherent, "authentic", and more importantly usable destruction, which I imagine must be part of the reason why those guys broke away from DICE to go make The Finals in the first place. It's not like they have to worry about the map becoming barren in BF6 either, the matches last the same ~20 minutes between both games (or for Breakthrough, are a series of 10-20 minute matches on different parts of a map). Just scale the ease of destruction to the larger player count. Make it take a few RPGs and/or tank shells to destroy a single wall segment like how you need a few CL-40 shots to destroy a single wall segment in The Finals. Hell, BF6 even has visible "health pools" in the walls and floors/ceilings just like The Finals if you pay close attention!

Hopefully people will be able to fix this kind of stuff in portal (I'd love to see someone remake any semi-urban Squad map in fully destructible format for Breakthrough or Rush, complete with a massive number of transports and armor compared to all the beta maps) but I doubt it'll be that powerful.

For performance, it ran really well for me too on ~5 year old hardware. Very impressed by that, especially without having to use garbage post-processing AA, very good looking game overall.

Okay, that's just a really cool way to say "Titanfall 2", and I love it. Just want to point that out.

Slight left turn on the topic of "modern Battlefront games", but; how's 2042 doing right now? Last I heard - several months ago - it's apparently pretty solid gameplay-wise, but what are you guys' thoughts?

It's pretty good after it's updates, I think that Battlefield 6 however has kinda soured the game for me again.

The lack of offline support has had me stick with Bad Company 2 and no further. Its a shame since BF1 was really fun online, I just prefer bot modes so I can mod it and play splitscreen co-op online or offline. DICE are lazy faggots, they have had literal bots in online modes since BF1 but can't program basic offline modes lol.

I think the game just needs bigger maps. Out of the 9 we're getting it seems like from descriptions that only 3 of them are more "sandbox" oriented. I dont want super huge maps either like 2042 had, just big enough where winning a fire fight gives your squad some breathing room and the vehicles don't get harassed the second they leave spawn.

Other complaint is the passive spotting. Glancing at someone now puts the spot marker on them, they just dont show up on the minimap unless you actually use the spot button. Makes playing sneaky impossible, it also makes the pace of the game feel faster as brain dead apes run around lighting up anything with a glowing icon above them (this has always been the case with 3D spotting but now its amplified).

Im sure they thought it would help casual players not miss enemies with the higher fidelity of the game but it honestly hurts them more as they're the ones who lean more on hiding and getting the drop on people.

Faze clan niggers
washed up CoD pro players
kovaak's community

It's like the shittiest people on the planet decided to team up in order to completely ruin a game.
