The movement in Battlefield 1 feelt eerily similiar to Mirror's Edge: Catalyst which released at the same time.

So I'm hoping for the Battlefield Portal (Read: Map Editor) to get implemented in the new ME as well.

Don't care about the studio. Just let the community do it's thang.

After playing Siege of Cairo again and monitoring CPU performance, I'm definitely CPU limited to ~110 FPS on that map, but first time DLSS framegen must not have been kicked in until I restarted the game after a crash. Hence, not feeling smooth.

Really loving the game so far. Feels like what we should have got instead of 2042 - improving and refining the BF5 movement and gunplay and going back to the beloved BF3/4 setting, no hero shit.

Looks too green to be Battlefield 3.

I saw some streamed footage of Battlefield 6. It does look to be a return to form with being a modern military shooter. I cannot play the beta currently, but the first impressions I’m seeing are promising.
 
Now I'm going to be pissed when the beta is over but man has it made an amazing first impression.

Yeah i've been having a blast with it, it's already made a much better impression than the BF2042 Beta did, even with some glitches leaking through here or there. I really like that they combined Medic and Support, since those were my two main classes. So i'm just running around reviving people with an LMG, gunning fools down. It's a lot of fun.

if the CODization of BF is just the faster movement including crouch run then it's fine but i don't hold hopes for them to keep up a standard, if BF6 gets another once the hype phase passes you'll see people sliding like football players on BF7 with more CODization.
 
BF6 has the stupid censor pound keys appear when you say gamer words so streamers can play, but I guess it's a better alternative than just canning someone's account or making them sit in the timeout corner like Ubisoft does with siege.

I'll stay true and not pre-order, see you all on the 9th.

Edit: female soldiers are back, I'll play as a black woman if I can.

Edit2: is it me or are the servers for other BF games offline? can't find any on BF 1 or V, maybe they're using all official server space for the beta.

Remember, don't preorder. They haven't learned their lesson, they're just changing their tactics. Expect to see more bait and switches like Kingdom Come 2.

I was really worried about this being a Medic main since I thought they were retarded enough to have ammo and health bags be separate, but I'm glad to be wrong. Especially since, even on restricted weapon playlists, I can play with Carbines since I don't care for LMGs much. The quicker revive times for Support is great too, since when the class eventually gets more gadgets it won't feel like you're missing out too much if you swap out the defibs.

Yeah, I like LMG's but the Carbine feels nice too, I can also always slap on a shotty if i want to be a close in combat medic
 
The game is running super poorly for me unfortunately, i can set it to 1080p with dlss in performance mode and it still won't break 60fps. (3070 and a 5800x3d)
