Tactical Brit answering questions about the game

So the Adrenaline Injector isn't as bad as I thought it would be, it's not a free heal like it is in Call of Duty.

The first beta test is live. From a Facebook post, it looks like the queue to enter the beta matches the current Steam player count for Call of Duty (Black Ops 6/Warzone.)

There's no stats for Battlefield 6 (beta) on SteamCharts yet.

Also some stuff from the video for people who don't want to watch.

The game feels like a mix of BFV Movement and BF3 everything else.

There is no SBMM; the game operates similarly to other Battlefield games, shuffling teams around at the end of a match if it detects an imbalance.

Portal is the GADOT engine, and apparently, you can make maps without going into the game itself.

Audio is probably the best it's ever been probably best in the franchise.

Nothing he played worried him at a core conceptual standpoint; His biggest praise was that there aren't any conceptual issues with the game. There are some minor balance tweaks could be made, but the game isn't inherently flawed like 2042 was, as far as he can tell, and he wanted to play more of it.

The game is VERY infantry-focused; they really went out of their way to make sure it felt good to play as a boots-on-the-ground soldier in this one. New York and Egypt are also Infantry focused maps.

Servers felt like they were around 60hz

TTK Feels to be around the same if not slower than Modern Warfare 2019, using it as an industry base. Time to Death is better than COD 2019.

If you enjoyed MW2019 you'll probably like Battlefield 6 a lot.

The gameplay loop is addictive; he basically compares it to BF 3/4 gameplay loop-wise. He also says that in BF 1, V, and 2042, you kind of lost those intensity moments that made Battlefield, Battlefield. Those are essentially back in this game.

He also thinks that they're launching the beta with weapons locked on classes as well as unlocked to gauge how the community reacts to both, with intentions of implementing one or the other on launch based on community feedback.

I keep misusing TTK. That's a gauge of how long it takes to kill somebody, correct?

That's nice to know. All the times I've played Battlefield, I believe I encountered a mid-game team balance twice I believe?

So what that tells me is to play Battlefield V, then the beta, then another Battlefield to compare movement. Easy enough.

Now that's promising for me. I liked MW2019, but its TTK and movement feels floaty compared to its sequel, MWII. I don't dislike vehicles; I don't have much opportunity to use them.

Somewhat promising.

Skeptically hopeful they'll at least add a few *Official* severs but I'm still excited to see the game.

TTK: Time to Kill = Is the time from when bullets first hit their enemy target and how long it takes to bring it from 100% health to 0%. (So think 100 to 0% health in X amount of seconds)

TTD: Time to death = Same as above but this is from the victim's perspective. So TTK is how long YOU as the shooter take to kill an enemy, TTD is how long you as a victim, perceive your health go from 100 to 0

TTD is heavily effected by server latency, it's why in COD you get shot, run behind a cover and then die a split second after. Because their server tik rate is too low.

Funny clip from BF Labs, I hope it doesn't get "fixed"

Glad they won't get rid of it.

I hope you know you're one of the worst users on the site. The fucking black guy who can't go 3 posts without telling us how much he wants to fuck golden age women is unironically better than you.
He's right though. BF1 could have been a great WWI game if it didn't have all those automatic weapons.

It was an awful WW1 game, you cannot argue this. Hell, most people run around with automatic weapons like in any other Battlefield, when automatics were either extremely heavy and temperamental HMGs or prototype SMGs used by lucky few who were issued with them. This was the one time you could make Bolt Action Rifles and similar weapons the meta and create an interesting experience, but nope, same exact game as the previous several modern era games except it looks like it's set in WW1, just barely. You liked it because it is just more of the same, that's exactly my point, it could have taken place on the moon and you would have still liked it because it is barely any different from BF4, and that game was barely any different from BF3.
I loved the game but the more I got into real WW1 through it (I already knew a lot, but not like after, it wasn't a driving interest) the less I could enjoy it, and then Isonzo just kind of ruined it for good. I disagree that it has to be historically accurate to be a good game but I agree that it's kind of shit in that regard. It's a modern game with WW1 paint on it.

Most overrated game of the last generation in my opinion, only casuals who have no taste were obsessed with this game in experience. Oh, and let's not even go over how many fucking niggers are in that game, I'm not considering that fact when judging the game because it is about as historically accurate as COD Vanguard(altho that game might win out some in the accuracy department) but it does re-iterate that the people who play this game are brainless nigger cattle who don't even see that as a problem(or they're genuinely that stupid and uneducated and really think every other soldier in the trenches of Europe was a pajeet). Let's not talk about the girlboss mission in the campaign either or many other really fucking stupid decisions the devs made in that regard(like, say, relegating a major faction of the conflict, Russians, as fucking DLC) since the nigger cattle who plays this game clearly don't care.
The only part of that that really annoyed me was the German Blacks and the Russian women. The German Blacks only fought in Afrika in real life and they would have been a great subject for DLC (the most brilliant general of the war, undefeated, German leading Africans in the jungle) and they totally ignored for made up history. With the Russians, that one bullshit publicity stunt regiment should not have been fucking 25 - 50% of every unit. They didn't belong at all. You could tell they were playing off the mindset that Russians = women snipers. Even for WW2 that's heavily exaggerated and here it didn't make any sense.

So yeah, when I think of goyslop or fast food of video games or whatever, I think of several games in particular but BF1 is the one I think of most often, as it is a turd covered stale half eaten cheeseburger of online FPS games, only hyped up because "it is not Call of Duty".
Well, you're wrong in mechanical terms, presentation. The historical accuracy part aside, it's still a great game.

Dev confirms the sniper glint will be reduced
Yeah it definitely should. I'd get rid of it entirely but I shan't complain too much given they're bringing back the 'sweet spot' mechanic for snipers.

I wish they would being back emblem/patch editor.
Nevah evah coming back. Besides the usual censorship supporting suspects, steamers would have a hissy fit at the possibility of seeing the nigger word or a swastika.

He's right though. BF1 could have been a great WWI game if it didn't have all those automatic weapons.
Then it wouldn't had been a good Battlefield. I believe there was a rifles only mode for Battlefield 1 that quickly died out.
