Anybody experiencing a glitch to where joining a server in BF4 greets you with an infinite loading screen?
 
An Italian BF2042 streamer, Gemini899, was caught hacking during his livestreams, and even admitted to re-selling free versions of cheats to other people:

Gemini also has hacked in other games, i.e. Apex Legends and PUBG, and has at least two accounts banned in BF4 for cheating.

BF1 and BF4 matchmaking used to send me on empty servers.

Never run a game as administrator, even if they tell you to do it.

I decided to reinstall 2042, after 5 minutes of playing I got kicked by the anti-cheat and uninstalled it.
What makes this even more infuriating is that I cannot play older battlefields. I have them on Xbox Gamepass, which gives me EA Play, but on there Battlefield 4 becomes unplayable quickly, whenever I try joining a server I only get the blurry background with the game being frozen.
Meanwhile Battlefield 3 needs to be launched through the Battlelog, which then must be started in Origin, which wasn't possible before due to owning the game on Gamepass/EA Play, and is even more impossible now because Origin is fucking defunct. EA support was useless, despite telling that what the problem was they said to reinstall the game and disable windows services. I miss old battlefield : (

I hate when people suggest to reinstall the game. Not only it won't change anything because 99% of the time the issue is on their side, but I live in a place where there's no fiber, I shouldn't have to re-download 70+ GB.
As for BF3, I haven't played it since Origin became EA app. All I know is that the new launcher sucks, I had to go in the registry to change the in-game language because there is no option in the EA launcher.

games that have no ingame-selector and depend on some retarded auto-detection are dogshit anyway. that's some basic bitch shit...
 
Bump to share something that might help other players here if they encounter the same bug. For several days I couldn't find a single game in BF2042 and the browser in the Portal mode showed empty servers.
I've finally found the reason. The EA App is so shit that it didn't notify me of an update for the game. The solution: turn the EA app offline then online. It will restart and finally show the fucking update for the game.

That actually makes some sense. I've noticed whenever they deploy a new 2042 update and I've installed it, on the main menu there'll be a message telling me there's a new update and I might need to restart the game to join servers. So clearly the game client doesn't query the servers to check if the latest version is installed and display an appropriate message on whether an update needs to be installed or not.
