Meh where is an actual Battlefield Clone? Even BF2 wasnt as milsim like as the games people claim it was. I see so much comparisons on Squad of Hell Let Loose are "just like the old battlefield guiz" not trying to say the games are bad but why should I play these games when I came to battlefield for casual combined arms gameplay.
those are the same people that claim "harcore" is like classic. best way to spot someone who started with bf4.

Unfortunately, BF2042 players will need to wait one more week for DICE's employees to come back to work, and what work will be done with the game, is yet to be announced, aside from supposedly removing the C5 Drone interaction.

Here is a video showcasing vehicles and how bullet damage works with glass, missile damage, and other jank.

BF2042's player drop continues, and reached the 8k Player mark earlier today on Steam. If the rumor about DICE not adding content until March is actually true, I don't want to imagine how low the numbers will go.

I'm genuinely unsure of their four season plan at this point, even BFV wasn't shedding players this badly so close to launch. If they were smart (they're not, considering that they killed off Battlefront II when it was more popular than ever), they'd read the room and cut their losses. The game is deeply flawed and disliked, they need to go back to the drawing board.

Some DICE devs have made some really bad takes, in regards to the game:

Then maybe there should have been more than just 22 weapons on launch then?

When you create something that's shit, and sell it to customers, then obviously people are going to bitch and be brutal about it. It's as if they don't understand that simple concept.

seriously, what would new content actually fix? new map and guns won't suddenly make the game itself fun, and if OMG NEW STUFF is all people care about might as well play fortnite.

both make no sense, amount of weapons means fuck all. majority will use the FOTM like they always do, there's a reason "meta" exists, and it doesn't matter how much useless shit there is you can grind for beside it. this whole focus on MUH PROGRESSION is one of the reasons modern videogames are so shit.
not to mention if I'm in it for the grind, why the fuck would I play a battlefield for that and not an outright a looter shooter or whatever else that scratches that itch way better than BF ever could?

plus that's one dumb take since classes mean more restrictions, it would be even easier to do with the weapons you already have (each class is just limited to certain types). but what else to expect from dice...

I predict it'll go the way of Anthem. Remember THAT train wreck? They'll try to "rebuild" it, only to drop it shortly after and forget it ever existed.

What the fuck kind of response is this? Apparently wanting a functional product for your $60+ is now "brutal expectations". Fuck off.

It's clear the grifters at Dice want people to just eat whatever shit they serve them before moving onto the next con job. Outside of maybe Naughty Dog I've never seen a dev have so much contempt for their own fanbase.

Wonder how long until they try and claim they're getting """death threats""".

He has decided to delete the tweets, wonder if a exec told him to or if he "realized" the shit he implied. I doubt he did due to the fact he limited responses. Regardless what a cowardice move, "my tweets weren't clear and I'm not going to elaborate what I meant also you can't ask lol"
What a pussy. Also,

If you told me they were intentionally trying to sabotage this franchise I would 100% believe it.

An industry once known for an extremely competitive environment with high standards is now staffed by people like that.

Granted, broken releases have been standard for many years now, but it wasn't this bad.

Add that to the growing list of clown world things that show we really are in the Kali Yuga.

Jannies are now threatening to sweep up the subreddit
This shit is so fucking predictable at this point it's honestly astonishing that some people still can't see through it.

Step 1: Do a bunch of anticonsumer bullshit
Step 2: People get angry
Step 3: Devs do surprised pikachu face and act all offended
Step 4: Soy-guzzling reddit mods who totally weren't paid off by the devs/publisher shut down or at least threaten to shut down the subreddit due to "toxicity" or """DEATH THREATS"""

Every fucking time.
