Tell me why in Battlefield 4, Operation Locker and Metro is 24/7? They usually turn into explosion only games.
Why not?
Some private servers are "no fun allowed" and will ban grenades, RPGs and even bipods on these 24/7 maps.

About 3 and half minutes in someone says if they had a physical copy of the new Battlefield Game they would Chris Chan it.

Break it in half and shove up His ass.

It's funny how quickly DICE described removed features from BF2042, i.e. the scoreboard and VOIP, as "Legacy Features", quickly became a meme. People have been mocking DICE for them using the "we don't have the tech" reasoning for missing features as well.

Even proper hitreg for guns is also apparently a "Legacy Feature:"

The Ribbons in BF2042 also were massively nerfed, compared to previous games:

Compared that, to BF3's available ribbons:

Also, Medals are not a thing in BF2042, and each ribbon is capped to a maximum of 3 each. That makes it clear how the XP gains were nerfed, in addition to the gutting of the ways to earn score (no %-based assists, no assist counts as kill, no savior, no avenger, no payback, no comeback, no killstreak stopping), to gate future Battle Pass progression.

"We don't have the tech" was the big meme during the support of BFVagina.

That phrase was also used a lot by The Sims Team, in regards to missing features in The Sims 4, that were in previous games. Some of their other excuses include "We're going back to the roots," (which doesn't explain why pools weren't in the game on release, as drowning Sims has always been a thing), "it's part of our vision" (which was also used in regards to SimCity 2013), "we chose not to add X feature, to put Y feature in the game instead", and TS4 being a "strong foundation for the future of the game". (which was also disproven, because of how features are still missing, or massively gutted)

Also, The Sims 4 was in a similar situation to BF2042 during development, as the game was originally going to be a multiplayer game, like The Sims Online, but the game had to be patchwork changed to a single-player game, after SimCity 2013 flopped hard. In regards to BF2042, some people think that due to the design decisions of the game, such as the larger maps, the 128 players for those maps, the Specialists being forced down player's throats, and the patchwork lore of the game, makes people think that this game was originally developed as either a Battle Royale, or a survival shooter like Escape from Tarkov.

It makes me wonder if The Sims Team devs were transferred to DICE to work on BF2042 at some point...

>Focused on infantry action
>Stat padding
>People actually aid pushes by popping smokes
>Surprisingly, the average pub scrub actually makes call outs in Locker games. There's hardly any map where you can rely on the player base to tell the team that C stairs has been breached because no one was watching because every one was going full dakka dakka on the doorway or that D under getting zerged
>Farming unlocks

Ah yes, that was in regards to them never doing double XP events even when they had XP boosts for sale.

"We don't have the tech" my ass, that was DICE fucking up something that even Fallout 76 has done numerous times.
The irony is that BF4 had a double XP setting that they could enable whenever they wanted and yet, they didn't have the tech for BFV, lol. Hell, even EAfront 2 had double and triple XP days and that game was made before BFV.

What kind of hammed up excuse is THAT for BFV only having FOUR HAIRSTYLES and four FACES for its female characters?!
They've spent most of their resources on the Battle Royale mode that no-one asked for and the cosmetics/OC heroes.

whenever they pull that excuse I just take it as "oh, so you're that incompetent you can't even lift code from your own earlier games which worse is basically nothing more than a different multiplier, got it". great way to get me to spend 60+ bucks...

BF3 pissed me off, because I had a weird graphical glitch that made the bad guy's model never show up , so the entire time my dude is screaming at nothing, plotting to kill the invisible man and then having a fist fight in the middle of the NYC subway with nothing. It made the game feel like an art film about PTSD and the RPK

Tom Henderson stated that there was a lot of worker turnover at DICE, with 87% of about 500 or so DICE employees joining during or after BF1's development, and 58% of them joining during BF2042's development. Combine that with the report about Mesmar's departure that said that DICE had over 80 creative directors, and how the Frostbite engine is a pain to work with, it explains a lot as to how BF2042 released as an unfinished, rushed, buggy mess.

He also stated that he plans to release a video to explain what happened during BF2042's development, including disproving the "well ahead of schedule" statement:
