Roberts simultaneously undermanaged and overmanaged. Undermanaged by leaving Snell in way too long, just sat on his ass watching it happen. Overmanaged with the nonsense of burning De Paula by immediately switching him out for Kike. Roberts has been flailing this entire series, he doesn't have a clue what to do. It's what happens when your opponent is doing everything right and forcing you into tough spots. It's more of a credit to the Brewers.
Yes, the De Paula fiasco (especially because what we have seen from De Paula has been positive), but also he’s been overmanaging the series as a whole with too many lineup changes, not making a decision with Ohtani’s placement and just sticking to it, etc. There’s a benefit to letting your batters see the same bullpen game after game in the same order.

I'm pulling for either Tampa Bay or Milwaukee. I want someone to get their first.

If it's between those two, Tampa Bay. Because Milwaukee winning it all unfortunately means Quarter Pounder and Fatrick get to be happy.

Only rooted for LA last year so they'd felt Canada.

Obviously I was pulling for my Dodgers to get a threepeat but that's not going to happen. Two straight World Series is itself is a major accomplishment, can't complain at all. The Dodgers have run out of gas against a really damn good Brewers team.

Coming into the postseason, the teams I didn't want to win were the Poodres, Yankees, and Red Sox, and they're all long gone. Between the Brewers, Rays and Guardians, they're all good stories and I'd be happy for their fans.

Ultimate copium: heat wave has come to Los Angeles, a temperature Dodgers are used to at home during summer. Air conditioned Brewers will suffer.

I was hoping to see LA and Tampa Bay in the WS this year, but unless the Dodgers remember how to hit the fucking ball tonight that ain't gonna happen

Welp, it's over. Hell of a run for the Dodgers these last few years, but it had to come to an end sometime.
Congrats to the Brewers, I'll be rooting for them in the World Series to go win their first. Great team that plays the right way.

The one good thing that could come out of the Dodgers avoiding a three-peat, let alone getting swept, is how this might ease some of the tensions with the upcoming CBA negotiations.

Optimistic of course and I will admit that. But the Dodgers were the go to example being used for a lot of issues at the center of the upcoming labor battle. Maybe them losing the way they did will help put some of the fire out.

The guys that put a couple hundo on the Brewers to take the World Series at the beginning of the season are going to cash out big.
