I was just getting ready to ask if this meant I had to stop mocking ¡Jeb! for the next two weeks or whatever is considered a decent interval. I'm glad that's over.
 
She was the only living woman that was a wife and then the mother of a President.


She donated copies of "From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler" to my grade school...loved that damn book!

Mocking Jeb is a national pastime. We do it in honor of his mother.
 
Kinda felt like the Bush's were a bit more morally upright version of the Kennedy family, of a sort. She always was so gracious and classy, not many First Ladies can say that about themselves.

Pour one out for the Lady.
 
She made it all the way to 92, good for her. She had a long, eventful life and it was time for her to rest.
