What does that ring do anyway? I recall it had no enchantment or stats to give.
I believe its a Ring of Protection. It adds +1 AC and +1 to Saving Throws to your character
It's basically the best stat rings one can get tbh.

Works w/Wild Shape too.
Also, you can still buy/steal the idol from Mol after you complete the quest.

I don't recall seeing any skeleton-riddled wheelchairs laying strewn about. That coward never even left his home! He's been hiding in the basement the entire time. And now he's going to speak like some kind of authority. You fuck, I'm going to push your ass down so many flights of stairs.
The reason wheelchairs don't exist is because liches were invented. That and float, flight, misty step, etc. Magic gives you mobility. Wheelchairs in DnD are fucking retarded.

Yeah, whenever I had a player who wanted a disabled character if they didn't have some creative adaptation to the disability or a solid reason behind it I'd either help them develop their character more outside of game or just say no. It's lazy and introduces damsel in distress syndrome pretty hard, everyone in the party having to constantly save you is not fun.

They finally 'fixed' the Tav self same trial model. The character portrait is still the default black human, and it doesn't refer to Tav's name but it's better than nothing.

The inverse of Tav was black?
What could Larian have meant by this?
By the way, @soda pimp, who did you off for the BOOOAL buff?

Wyll! It was Wyll, wasn't it? 😜

Oh got it, its another ring, not the one you can buy or loot from corpses. Its for stealing the druid's totem.

your PC is a Barb so, naturally you don't need Karlach hogging the spotlight
That's why I've barely used her. Her rage scream is pretty weak too, compared to Shart or Minsc.

Made it to act 3 in my honor mode without much of a problem. I thought I was going to die to Myrkul since I had to fight Ketheric first. Gale used the ring that lets you command drop on undead on the Apostle of Myrkul and it dropped into the abyss. Found out something new to me too. Sit on Ketheric's throne and your character says something about it.

I wonder if the Emperor has any dialog for a PC that didn't use ilithid powers but immediately consumes tadpoles them after getting the astral tadpole (but still not using the astral tadpole because it makes them ugly). I gave all my tadpoles to Astarion so I guess I won't know.

Once I got to Rivington we b-lined for Minsc. This was probably the fight I was worried the most for since I like to stack elemental damage. Knock out still takes into consideration elemental damage and I've killed Minsc accidentally that way. This was probably the only fight where I used the Transfuse Health ilithid power.

I really wanted the Bhaalist armour so we tried to impress the murder tribunal. When I went to Elfsong Tavern, Korilla was there to tell me to meet up with Rapheal. Is this new? I tend to go to the House of Hope by then or not recruit Laezel so it was a new interaction to me.

We stole Dolor's stuff at the wine festival and when I finished the tribunal, he was just there hanging out. He didn't have anything to say about me stealing his shit. I guess they didn't think that far for this situation.

By now I killed Viconia, Orin, and Cazador. Unfortunately, my game crashed when I had to fight Astarion since I forgot there was a specific dialogue tree in order to convince him not to ascend. I had to restart from the autosave at Cazador's palace. Hopefully this doesn't count against my honor mode. I'm kinda annoyed about how he never has a character arc without your input. He doesn't have a moment where he reflects on all this. Even Durge resisting Bhaal doesn't give him an example to look up to. In fact, all the male companions need you to fix them or else they'll get their evil ending.

Gale will always go for the crown. Astarion will always try to ascend. Wyll can't even decide whither to save his dad or break his pact. You have to decide for him. Minsc to some extent doesn't escape from this either. If you don't convince him to stand down with 9 Fingers and you kill the guild he still gets captured by the Zhentarim in the epilogue. Compare that to Shart or Laezel where if you just let them do what they want to do they go for their 'good' endings. I don't want to play therapist for them, I want them to realize the errors of their ways on their own. You can convince Shadowheart to not kill her parents without the check if you explore Baldur's Gate with her. She'll get some memories back and that makes her want to be with them or something. I want them to have this realization themselves. For all the praise the game gets, the companions are ones I disagree with. There's no comradery between them. They pretend to be all chummy with but insult each other when you make them talk to each other at camp. The only ones I genuinely like are Jaheira and Minsc, who don't want to fuck you and have a lot of chemistry with Durge. Maybe I'll try the older games just for them.

These fights have been pretty easy since I've been ignoring the roleplay stuff and attacking from my advantage. House of Grief? More like House of Grease.😒 I only brought Shart to save her parents. I actually began to feel something when they were reunited. It was really sweet. I almost felt bad for laughing when Shart's mom called me her husband's name, but it was out of shock. It really began to dawn on me how much they suffered. I'm a little disappointed they don't follow us to the Rivington camp. Ravenguard and the lesbians do, but not Shart's parents? I think they'd really like it there, with the farm aesthetic and the dead badger.

I'm not sure on how to approach the Brain. I was planning to kill it with all the smokepowder we've amassed over the acts but that might not guarantee it's death. What would you guys recommend?

If you skipped Sharess's Caress, then I think Korilla meets up with you later just to remind you of Raphy's deal.

Same. In fact, if you're a good character, romance him, and then tell him you won't help him because you can't bear to see him become a monster, he does the most dick move possible and snaps Cazador's staff in two piece saying, "If I can't be free, then nobody else can." Like, really, Larian? How much do you want me to hate Astarion?

Read up on tactics. You're going to want several sources of damage for when you fight the brain itself. Also try to see if you can nuke down the dragon ASAP. I got lucky in my run and succeeded with a Hold Monster cast before hitting him 5x with Lae'zel.

Saw the almost textbook level cancelling of the Dammon voice actor dude. Knew the faggotry that emerged around this game would get nasty at some point. Poor fucker even grovelled on twitter. Pretty pathetic all round.
Also no BG4 from Larian either. Hasbro fuckery no doubt:

Larian Studios Won't Make Baldur's Gate 3 DLC, Expansions, or Baldur's Gate 4 / https://archive.is/Bv7ec
Doesn't surprise me. Everything I've heard says Hasbro and WOTC are filled with absolute lunatics and are nightmares to work with.

As much as I'd definitely play and enjoy a DLC/expansion, I'm pretty pleased with the fact that Larian won't be encouraging the practice of holding back content/leaving stories unfinished in the hopes of driving up hype to make more money on subsequent content that should have been included or finished through the main storyline or even free patches in the first place- I doubt it'll happen, but it would be nice for developers to see how well a game can do financially and critically without espousing this trend and for them to feel inspired by it. As for BG4, I would have been really surprised to see it happening because I felt like the third chapter closed out the story that started with the initial game, even if it was in other hands. I do kind of wish there could be some sort of Sorcerer Arabella/Rogue Mol sequel, hell, even a Wizard Rolan/Bard Alfira one would be great, but I feel like they have adequately explored the Sword Coast setting.
My first assumption was that they were going to funnel the hype from BG3 into their own IP and work on DOS3, and I'd genuinely be okay with it. I do hope they eventually dive into more DND content because I generally like the direction they took, but their proprietary system is also tons of fun and it shields Larian from being at WOTC/Hasbro's mercy when it comes to creative control.
